One tip I learned from building Gundam kits, is don't cut flush when removing parts from the sprue. Cut a little way from the part, leaving a bit of the gate, then trim the nubs when the part is free. Less likelihood of breaking parts.

That piece where you put that small pipe on is the Startermotor to help to turn on the Bike. The small "Cap Detail" is the Screw that you need the Remove with the Oil filler Cap on the other Side to drain the Engine Oil to change it.

oh i should also add i got the paul koo scale upgrade kit so as well as following your build im having to constantly check for swapping out fastnings etc which just means its taking me abit longer and im constantly pausing and rewinding your video,cheers wayne,regards nick

One of my hobbies is fixing up old motorcycles. Sense no one else has said so yet, you are right, that part you thought was the starter is the starter, the "cap detail" you put on right after that is the oil drain plug. The rotating gear you put on would be the countershaft sprocket.

The kit is available in the UK as a pre-order from Pocher UK (Hornby Hobbies). The first delivery are all sold but a second delivery is due in June apparently. I can’t wait!!

hi wayne,im only part way thru the pocher ducati and just want to say a big thanks for without your videos i would really be struggling more than i am,i scratch build model planes and fly them{fairly large scale} but pocher on there box it even says its ok for beginners...well i totally think thats a ploy to sell there kits as i think a straight up beginner would be pulling his hair out,doesnt take away from the fact that its a awesome looking model but would definetly not recommend for a beginner as pocher say !!,,,again a big thanks and im looking forward to finishing this model along with your assistance,kind regards nick

This model seems like what you'd get if you ordered an entire model from Agora on the ones they offer: all the parts and instructions all at once all over the place. LOL. Still, this is going to be an awesome model. Ian's gonna love it.

getting there, i bet finding the numbers on the parts, made life a lot easier, its the same when you you are trying to fit a new car part. you find its a balls ache to fit, then you sus out that all you needed to do was move another part out of the way. A 2 hour job could have been an hour if that.

Hi Wayne... a fan here from Montreal, Canada. I've managed to find a Ducatti from a Canadian retailer here. Have been following your builds, especially the Agora Models, which I have a few. Quick question for you... which brand of Philips screwdriver do you use? I find some either "strip" the screwhead, or the driver tip wears out! Any tips on screwing into metal? I do use oil. Don't really feel like pre-tapping holes. Appreciate your advice... cheers.

That U 07 part just doesn’t look right (I’m at this stage). When you look at section 4 then part U 07 looks like it has a pin sticking directly out and the image of it in section 3 looks like it has a pin on both sides, plus the part you glue it to has a hole that the pin fits into exactly. Is this really the correct part do you think and should it really be glued on in the way you did it? I understand why you did it like that but it seems odd to have a pin-size hold and then just glue the flat part on top of it… Any thoughts on this or did you find out something later in the build? Thanks for any help you can provide - your build videos have been quite useful!

22:25 one of the pitfalls of a model like this. Unlike partworks models, you got to figure out what order to assemble stuff in, or you'll miss something. It could be worse. You could have done most of the engine only to find out you needed to screw a part into THAT and you'd need to take it all apart to do it. I'd think, if that happened, I'd try and just rig it up using superglue.

The first thing I do with a kit like this is sit down with the instructions and a pencil and read through them all, making notes as necessary. Other build threads/videos can also come in handy as the order given in the instructions is not necessarily the best.
