Hi all, welcome to the next 2 issues of the Titanic build.
In this video 2 sections of the keel are added along with the bilge keels for the hull.

Looking good John still waiting to get my issue 96 as it hasn't arrived yet in my local newsagents hopefully tomorrow it will come in and can do mine. She is one heavy beauty absolutely loving this build your videos are fun and really helpful still worried about the engines as I'm having some issues with the gearbox so hopefully will get it sorted before I put it inthe model all the best for 2024 god bless

I think it’s the double bottom that was found in two pieces in the debris field where the break up happened! 😎

excellent build John, at least it makes the hull more secure now, what gets me is why the keel is plastic and not metal

Hi John, I loved the bottom of the ship really does strengthen the Titanic, i think the bottom is just a thinner metal strengthened by the plastic ribbing, looks like two layers. because it feels cold to touch, hmmm but it spelt disaster for my Bismarck, i was returning the Titanic to the case with Bismarck, and i was lining up the top of case with the tabs and the back of case moved away and because i wasn't holding the back properly it slid out and landed on top of Bismarcks main mast and snapped it clean in two, all the time i took to do the rigging on the Bismarck was ruined, you can imagine the colourful language John, #+#@/#! < that was just the start of it lol😅. But its not end of world, I'm buying the mast upgrade kit which is metal and i will redo the rigging.But i will wait for Titanic to have its own case, before i repair. We'll be on Batmobile 66 by then lmao. Thanks John loved the watch.

That's sickening, Phil. we all have our mini disasters, but at least you can repair it. Can't wait for the 66 Batmobile. I have my intro ready for the video, I love being a big kid, lol. Take care 🙂

Thank you John, yes it was heart stopping at first, but it can be done, plus I was thankful no major damage took part. Can't wait to see your intro when you upload on 66 Batmobile.👍 John my friend I believe we're all big kids at heart, no matter our age and it keeps our grey cells occupied and busy. Next lot of Stobart were shipped out on the 22nd. Not sure if they'll come before end of the year, due to all the bank holidays. I'll expect them when I get them.

Just in case you’d like to replace it too, but it‘s not possible to order in UK, just lmk. I can order that issue here and post it to you. It will take a while, bc I‘m on issue 83 right now, but better late than never, isn‘t it? 😊

Amazing ! Did you try to put the decks assembled on the Hull ? And Have you tried putting the machinery in the base of the hull, the base you did in numbers 95 and 96?

The decks are all together on the Hull, and you can see the engines in place already. 😀
