Like Batochera but this one doesn't need to be installed in the BIOS anymore, and can be used and played directly on Windows.

It's funny I just installed it a few days ago and uninstalled launchbox and dumped all my backup emulators and files just taking up space on the hard drive and I tell you it's the nicest and easiest setup I've ever used. I'm still scaping as I'm typing, but i just love it.

I know, I know, it's kinda bland. I keep things decluttered looking so that the focus stays on the things happening in the tutorials. I think there's a small amount of a graphic faded down in it and just my website name in the corner. There's actually an image there too, and I can't remember exactly which one it is. I think I found it in Google from something like a search for "circuit pattern dark mode" or similar.

Thank you, and greetings from the US! Yes, it would work well. Some of the highest end emulation, like PS3/PS2/360, might not run as well as some of the older systems. But from the perspective of just installing and running, yes, would work fine. Just like you'd install it on the SD card, I installed it all on a D: drive (secondary drive), so it'd line up well.

Thanks for the info. I simply use Playnite because I've configured all the emulator I need and it's also support Windows games.

IS it not possible to use my existing roms folder locations at all, or ar eu just syaing, by using the automagic eprocess it can't happen, but what I I don't mind modifying settings per system manualls?

I think you can go that route by telling RetroBat / Emulation Station where to find each folder in each of the emulator settings from the main menu. I kinda just set it up this way because of how the automation made these folders during the install.

I would think so, but I think you might have to install them manually into the correct folder(s) and make sure the file names are compatible.

Super easy. In that same online downloader for themes, there's an online updater for RetroBat. :)

They are both great for their own reasons. I think if you are planning to build a self-booting setup that Batocera might be better. This setup gives you the flexibility of just launching it right from within Windows and is insanely easy to set up and use.

Like all those free emulators there is 0 games installed. Maybe 5 free homebrew. You have to add your own files to it. There is about 120 maps of gamesystem it can support and they are all empty.. Adding a mamegame or laser and it show on your list of games. It work great to install it on a small usb stick for portable if you wanna play at work or Connect to you laptop or minipc. It all depends on the pc gpu what system can be played.

Sounds like you can do a lot. What I like to do is just download 1 game of a particular system, and if it runs? Great! If not, then I try something a little less demanding.

@@Dinosaursof This is a free download and you can donate if you wish. It is up to you to decide what you want to do. You can install it on every computer in the house if you want to. Maybe go to your cousin's house and install it there too. I believe you'd probably get a raise if you installed it on your boss' computer at work too.
