They rely on the stability of a wide footprint.. the soil does pack well, but I should think a few angled bamboo poles would provide even better stability. The arch at the front makes a big difference as you can see the back wobble from side to side whilst the front is much more stable. Bamboo is an amazing natural resource and so quickly replenishes.

Start by baking limestone until it's pure white. At this point, all the carbon is baked out of it. Put it in a vat of water. The stones will react with the water and break down into a white powder called lime. Mix this substance with powdered charcoal, volcanic or wood ash, sand, gravel and sea water.
