The only member of ZB1 that I think Mnet didn't really want is probably Ricky, and imo they would've wanted Park Hanbin in ZB1 over Jay. That's why he was immediately put into Evnne over Jay. However, I do believe this show was still made for Jay (and Wumuti and Donghun). He likely fits the vision of a vocal-focused boy group more than ZB1, who has a more specific almost flower-boy adjacent concept. ZB1 just happens to also be a vocally strong group because the top 18 were all very skilled.

Can't believe this era is over! Build Up didn't have a ton of variety content, but we did get some awesome stages. Thank you so much for these compilations! Will definitely be following BDU and hope it helps One Pact exposure as well. Not sure what genre I want them to sing, but I kinda feel like tropical would go really well with Jay's voice? I'm curious now lol. Jongwoo has been dropping some hints on the comeback recently, so production on that should be ramping up soon. He said the comeback will be grand and have a storyline, with a mix of genres.
