I might be biased because I am so in love with Geonu, but when he performs you can tell how much he loves his job and loves music and it is so endearing. I think he understands the feedback but I also think he is confident in himself and what he does that it will be interesting to see what he does next. I also think Joker was so fun which is why it was so good, they are having fun which I think is why he is there.

I think Geonu is getting clocked because he, out of all the contestants, is very aware of the cameras. He’s often looking right down that lens like a music show, while the others are making direct eye contact with the judges, looking into some mysterious middle distance, just off camera, or are so absorbed in the song they have eyes closed or are looking down. Loved Geonu in I-Land, but even I feel like he’s schmacting for the camera a bit rather than just being caught up in the feeling since he seems to be looking for the camera while the others’ eyes may just happen upon them.

Bain and Geonu have always been very tapped into the western music scene and just pop in general… lol I find it funny that they’re the JUST B members that ended up on this show and they’re both sooooo western in their performance style and the music they like😎

Bain slays every performance! He’s definitely someone I would want in the top 4. I think the judges should leave Geonu alone already about his expressions. At this point it’s obviously the way he vibes and has fun while performing.

ngl i was sooo pissed at sanghyung for not trying something new outside of his wheelhouse because if he had had that narrative of TRYING an rnb song and even if he flopped a little bit it still probably would have been a wayyy more powerful stage because taewoo and neon are incredible. like they could have won! but sanghyung wasn't able to get out of his box and ngl as someone who wanted neon in that group i am pissssssssssed lol.......... anyway a great review as always. love u guys

Finding out that Jay, Wumuti, and Hayoon are going to perform Fever by JYP genuinely shook me to my core. MONT performed that song on Peak Time and it made me a Bitsaeon stan, so knowing that they picked that song out of all of the songs in the world after orchestrating Bitsaeon's downfall... Jay Chang I will never forgive you lmao. Even if you don't do a reaction video I highly recommend you check out that performance, it's very fun!!

I keep falling in love with so many people from these survival shows and this one, Bain is it for me. He’s a diva and I’m here for it and now I actually want to check out JustB. I really enjoyed Mont on Peak Time and they seem like such great guys when they were leading the other groups. I would’ve picked Prayer too because Jeup has to be in the group and Seunghun is too good, rapping on a vocal survival show. Sister Key? 😂 I’m honestly skipping a lot of the show and just tuning into your recaps.

For Sunyoul you should check his performance on masked singer cuz he dressed like a woman and fooled everyone and that was 6 or 7 years ago. Since then i follow him. He loves singing so much that he and his dad sold tin or something else -i don't remember-so he can go to Seoul and became a trainee. I want him to be success this time. He deserves it. no one talk to me I am mourning the elimination of neon and taewoo (and now I am gonna rant because sanghyun is an AMAZING vocalist but the man was really not using his brain this round....did they not talk at all before choosing neon? what was he thinking his team was gonna do with taewoo and neon? and even if he wasn't confident he should have played to the team's strengths there was no reason for him to be "well I won't be standing out in this" sir you don't need to? if one does all you all get saved ugh this is so frustrating).

If it is like Phantom singers, the jugdes will put 3 groups togther for the finals. They will ask the contestents, with who they want to be together in a group and then decide.

At this point I don't think will ever get a solo competition anymore, it'll always be group and I feel like we've seen too much of the same people together, I hope they'll mix up the group a bit more and apply a different system to filler down to the best fit-together voices if the group is what's important instead of the individuals.

What I’m really curious about re: Geonu is why he’s not getting comments about his voice on a show about vocal prowess. More than how he looks on stage, I feel like the real issue is that he so often sounds pinched, and not in a purposeful way.

That’s just his voice, it always has a bit of a “pinched” sound which maybe isn’t your thing… more than commenting negatively on his voice I would love to hear some positive comments on his voice… he actually was the one on those high notes (which you can only see on the full cam performance), so I think he at least deserves credit for pulling off that performance well vocally… especially for someone who isn’t all that known for his vocals… I never even thought he would be on this show with Bain, but I’m very proud of how well he’s done so far💗

I agree, he sounds the most strained of the lot, like he's working for every note, and I as a listener don't feel at all confident in what's about to come out of his mouth next. Sorry to this man, but for me he's absolutely the biggest sneak of the competition. (I apologize for being harsh, but I am just bitter the maknaes didn't make it cause they were perfection, and the wound is too fresh. Lol.)

Ok sorry… I know I’m commenting too much… But I was just thinking as you guys were talking about how Geonu doesn’t care about winning… I really don’t think he expected to make it this far honestly… I was even shocked when it was announced he would be on the show… he’s one of my absolute favorite humans of all time, but he isn’t actually the strongest vocalist… and even though he puts on the confidence for us, I’m sure he also knows that Bain is wayyyyyy more likely to make it in the end… he always has such a good attitude and energy and maturity about things though, so the fact that he doesn’t think he’ll make it to the end just means he’s going to do his best to have a good time and improve himself while he’s there… that man is my hero🥹

I keep forgetting that Baekho is a judge on this show but whenever I see him during the performances I keep thinking "why is Baekho here?" and I always forget that he's not just the "cool guy" and he's actually a talented singer and producer. I agree that Geonu will never be the cool that Baekho is, but I don't think he should be, I think that Baekho is that and that's amazing but not for Geonu.

Dunno bout you, but for me there def is a villain in this show… lol and it’s def Wumuti😅 It might not be fair, but I’m still annoyed at how he’s playing the “game” since he sees it as the kind of competition where he should eliminate his friends in order to make things easier for himself… and here I thought we were just looking for the top singers to make it into a group, but he is playing this to win it at all costs even if it means throwing someone else under the bus and putting himself against an easy target… I love the dude, but I don’t dig the energy he’s giving this time around😬

Honestly, I think overall the show isn't THAT competitive. A lot of the Jabs and digs weren't serious and it's clear that a lot of the contestants are chill with each other. Yeah it's a competition, but there's nothing bad enough for anyone to be a "villain". Even though they're friendly, they're still competitors. And his behavior, even if it leaves a bad taste in your mouth, it's understandable.
