I generally use a small length of Soaker Hose connected to a Fish Tank Air Pump, dropped in the bottom of the Pond to keep it Aerated, cheap & simple technique

Snakes LOVE ponds 🐍

Ponds can be attractive to snakes, so it's worth doing some research about snake safety if they are in your garden. Some tips: keep paths clear so you can see snakes, be careful when moving through dense grasses or shrubbery, avoid attracting prey such as rats, and be extra mindful in warm weather.
