The chest lift for the matrix is quite possibly the most annoying part of the build I Broke it the lift the first time. Got a second one and found that is you SLIGHTLY bend the Dark Gray piece it will open enough that you can snap the lift in. It's a pain but it worked for me the second time.

Great review! I've only built Megatron so far, would love to track down the IDW Optimus, for some reason these kits are kinda hard to find for me and IMO these are kinda expensive especially when compared to gunpla kits and what you get for similar price.

At this point I think that you would have to customize it for yourself to have one. I don’t think that they would make that one unfortunately.

I own this model kit and have been collecting gunpla and star wars and this prime oh lord where do i begin its F@CKING AMAZING articulation is the best out of all my models except for my rx-78-2 hg revive kit the detail on it is perfect plus it has this sense of style the comes off as anime like and i love it because it fits prime so well his accessories are perfect and plentiful color seperation is amazing and he has the matrix which i think is so freaking cool the model is already a 10/10 imo even without the matrix touch but man chefs kiss i can tell whom ever designed this prime is without a doubt a massive transformers fan would absolutely recommend this kit to anyone

Flame toys are awesome, I always wanted a tf line that didn’t transform or have kibble and then found these guys, I have the idw autobots and can’t wait for the wind blade, jazz, arcee and hotrod, the shelf is starting to fill out, I did build two of these in one sitting and I would not recommend it

He's going to be a pretty similar size to that Spidey. I don't have it but looking at my comparison of him with the Gundam and Earthrise Prime he's about a 6" figure.

The idea of non-transforming Transformers have been around since the 90s.

Yeah, Action Master Optimus Prime was the first to give up the power of transformation to become stronger, faster, and more alive. And that was an 80s G1 Transformers toy line. Then Revoltech Convoy came along close to 20 years later with even better articulation. And the latest update would be the R.E.D. Transformers action figures of none transforming Transformers to name a few.
