December 21st for ours! What time would you suggest for ceremony and reception?

Our wedding is at the end of Oct this year (fingers crossed)... our ceremony is at 1pm at the venue so luckily no travelling. According to google, sunset is around 5:45pm. Any recommendations of how I can work this into our day please 🙏🏻😂 your videos are giving me hope and excitement for my planning 🥰

So exciting Jess. So I would suggest 1.45-3.45pm drinks reception, guests sat down by 4pm for the wedding breakfast, then possibly hop out between mains and dessert. But speak to your photographer as the light may be better a tad earlier. I hope that helps ❤️

After we postponed, they only had 3pm left for our late October wedding. Our ceremony and reception are in separate buildings too. I was gutted! Sadly not much we can do

It will still be beautiful..... why not go ceremony, straight into gorgeous dusk photos and then straight to the meal? Or a 1 hour drinks reception as the sun goes in and the atmosphere builds before the wedding breakfast, then straight to the dance floor. Do'nt be gutted, it will still be magic! xx
