As indoor growers we are basically recreating nature- however we can create a perfect environment as we don't get cloudy days inside under lights we don't get a heavy rainfall when a plants in flower heavy, we have the benefit of having full control over the environment, remember we will make mistakes but the key is learning what works best to rectify these hiccups- 👌

one year I put clones outside way too early. we ended up getting a few inches of snow. completely covered the plants. they look fried and it was just the stems left baisically and dmged leafs. well I forgot about them and came back about a month amd half later. they was beautiful plants. they survived conpletly being covered by snow for a few hours

A couple years ago I had some going and the power went off for 11 days. NO lights and the temps got in the upper 30's. They survived but that really stunted them. It is amazing what nature can do. I think the hardest part for newbies is STFO stay out of them until they are done cooking and done curing. Besides the growing, the cure is the most import part from what I can gather. It is good to hear others stories and how they worked around problems.

Its important that we use plastic in a more responsable way. Microplastics are turning up in all sorts of places they shouldn't be. For my 10L plastic bags I firmly squeeze and roll ghe outside in my hands to get them out. On the 4th plant this year

Some people might think I'm crazy but I watch your channel so much that when I turn my phone on my 3 year old kid wants to watch buildasoil. And I'm already showing him how to check the wait of the plants to see if they need water. So maybe when he becomes as old as me he will be a master cultivater.

Also just another idea, hearing you talk about you can put whatever you want in the straw now, I’d love it if you guys put some IMO or something on there or PIMO would be even better, Steve from potent ponics just posted a vid on how to make it too, but that’s what’s gonna have the most diversity and IMO is so good it’s even capable of stopping fusarium and Chris Trump even documented it reversing another “incurable” disease on his macadamia nut trees, the stuff it does seems wild and if you guys offered that I’d probably have to buy some, everyone who I’ve heard talk about imo says it’s the best and a lot of beginners have a lot of difficulty doing it properly so I think there’s a market there for sure of people who want imo but haven’t figured out how to do it properly yet (me included)

Jeremy, I've often had different sized auto flowers. a big and short plant sharing one light can be difficult. but, since its in different pots... just get an end table or something and put the short plant up a foot or 2 higher. easy solution and results should follow.

I'd wait a day or 2 after transplant to turn up the lights. In fact, I turn mine down 10-20% in order for the roots to adjust to the new conditions Then after a couple days, turn up the light. It will reduce the plant stress, giving her roots time for development before the plant is looking for all the new nutrients for growth.

I have 3 strains in a 4 x 6 with the same soil . The runt I almost ditched is still nice and green fat buds, The others are either fading or dropping all their leaves because I guess they grew faster and used up all the nutrients. One had leaf curl the entire time but has some of the nicest nugs. Running Dosi Do, Alien-technology and MK Ultra.

I own 16 auto pot xl, they are nice. And I have the old version with the smaller diameter line to the float valve. It was nice for setting and forgetting. But I think if you have the room and are never going to move grow location doing a bed is nicer. I’ve done auto flower in them to and had one 7 foot plant one 2 foot plant and the rest were all about the same size. I think that may just be the randomness of seeds. But when using clones they were all equal. I would recommend the auto pot if you are busy with life.

Hey Jeremy, theres an annoying question I have and I haven't found an answer yet (no data nor experience reports available). In season 1 you said, that you don't really care too much about photobiologic data concerning wavelengths (380,660,730 nm) and plant growth. A basic white light (3500K) would be fine to make your plants crush. I think you could deliver the answer for me (and surely some others) if you took two identical clones, one under basic white light and one under white plus hyper red, far red and UV. What I am actually interested in is if there's an actual difference in quality of the end product. It could also debunk it as pseudo hype or confirm the theory of mimicking the different wavelengths of sunlight. Thanks a lot! We love you

Jeremy, please help me. I've gotten micro seeds four runs in a row across different genetics. I have no light leaks, and run a clean grow. Only slight Ca deficiency. I only top and do LST and do some defoliation in the first week of flower. All I can think of doing is zero training or defol next round.

Quick question. I’m drying some plants that I put in 27 gal totes with the lids cracked like you suggested in another video. It’s day 11 and 2 of the totes have snapping stems but moist buds still. should I still let them dry a few more days? The hygrometer is still reading a touch high around 71%

I’m very interested in the auto pot system. I like the earthbox but have been informed that two boxes wouldn’t fit in a 2X4 tent. So maybe the auto pots will. I’m hoping to eliminate the over under watering with me being a first time grower. I may end up with a 4X4 tent, but with the one leg I think the 2X4 would be better. And to start I was thinking 2 plants.

What pest control can I use in my organic grow for gnats that is safe for the nematodes in my coco? Last round I was infested I would rotate mamoth canna and drzymes but they worked for a day or two until the larvae hatched so this round I got nematodes but I'm seeing this fuckers running around my pots again.

I really don't like watering with a sprayer. It's hard to tell how much water per pot you are using and it takes forever also it always leave dry pockets at the bottom . Also I would have to fill it up like 5 or 6 times. Takes me probably 2 hours to water with a sprayer. Now I just dump a pitcher of water on my pots every other day at like 10% soil volume. I was worried about pouring too much water at once causing water cavitation our suffocating the roots at the top. But after I started watering like this my plants are much happier. I think its because the water gets to the bottom of the pot better this way. Not to mention its the fastest way to hand water and very accurate because I have measurements on my water pitcher

Just put that small auto on a upside down pot or a bucket. Even so I doubt its less light that's causing it issues. Some of the best plants I harvested only got 500 ppfd as long as your above 400 you should still get a decent harvest. Honestly I think we are all gieng our plants far too much light.

Was curious if you have ever run any cultivars from Barney's Farms or Greenhouse Seed Company? I know some people have negative things to say regarding Greenhouse but both they and Barney's have been around for quite some time and seem to be reliable. Am currently running amnesia lemon, peyote critical, Ayahuasca purple, Tropicana banana, lemon tree, blue Sunset sherbert, and banana punch from Barney's farm. Also running original cheese, great white shark, velvet Moon, and lemon skunk from greenhouse. Have always been pleased with Barney's as well as most of what I have tried from greenhouse.

For the autos why arnt you lift the pots so the canopy are all the same height. You highlighted the little one struggling because or lack of light and how the one close to the light is going so good. I wondered why you wouldn't put a crate under the smaller one so that all get optimal lighting? I'm sure there's a reason I just wanted to ask.
