I just did this yesterday. No soil test,4th re amend with Craft blend, Gnar bar, 1/2 Bas worm castings 1/2 cowoco castings, grokashi and then sprayed a Chapin full of Growing Organics Comfrey, Rootwise microbe complete, Big 6 and the Q. Boom Kanani!

The "curating" of your inputs is one of the things I respect the most about your company. Its hard as a ethical grower to keep up with what "organic" inputs might not be something we want to use. Your doing so for the customer is invaluable.

Hi! Welcome to the growers club 😉😎🤙! I guess you will go indoor since it's October or Cropctober! A small advice from an old grower...I guess you know it but organics need enough heat to work well...find a grow log who's using buildasoil products with the same light and box size etc and with a good end result...just mimic it...rollitup or any forums will help you a lot during your 1st grow and after (knowing when to harvest drying and CURING are as important as the grow itself don't hurry this part 🙏) Have a lifted one and lots of good vibes from France growers family

Buildabloom, Aloe, coconut water, Superblend, fish n kelp fertilizer along with the craft blend n worms just knocked it outta the park. We added a Migro UV-B light during flower n the frost was immense n so were our buds! Great experience growing organically n with a Drip system almost hands off.

I referred back to this episode to make my own amendments tonight. I used Neem seed meal, Kelp meal, sprouted corn (ground up), sprouted barley (ground up), oyster shell (ground up), crab meal, BAS rock dust, and gypsum. I made enough to fill a five-gallon bucket halfway. I am only amending 2 Earthboxes but will add the rest to my tomatoes outside.

I sprinkle the pellets around the outer edge, and mixed pellets in with my soil mix this year. Once you are able to let go of your ego and submit your life to YAH's way, you will transition into an ambassador for Yahusha instead of simply growing food. Hey Jeremy can you Q&A this this question. what's the difference between re_amend versus a top dress. I'm sure some of the newer grows like myself would like to know. Also worm casting versus compost top dress, re_amend or teas. When re_amend how long should you wait before planting clones or seedlings. thanks for all you do. last year was my 1st outdoor grow this year was alot better I've learned alot from you so please keep it coming 😊 ☺️
@BuildASoil2 жыл бұрын
Re-amend is a top dress!! That's it! But Top dressing is often done while plants are growing. Re-Amending is done between rounds. Since there aren't any plants growing I can work it into the top of the soil with the cover crop and really get the soil ramped back up in nutrition without hurting the plants.

We love ya Jeremy, but the "Coot Method" or the "Build-a-soil Way" is called Sustainable Gardening which is what Master Gardeners have learned for decades. Sure, new shit comes along, but the concept is basically Organic Gardening. Hope Gwen is better!
@BuildASoil2 жыл бұрын
Of course! This is just a language set that helps us discern between the infinity of methods. Many growers that start with BuildASoil go on to learn permaculture and many other words for similar concepts. We are all always learning, and part of running a business is knowing that it helps to communicate clearly. Hope that makes sense and thanks for watching. Only thing I do think is funny that most would agree with is the Term "Master Gardener." Many that I have spoken with are more smart to the "Master Course" and talk PH and other things like commercial growers but then many other Master Gardeners are passionate and keep learning above and beyond. I'm just glad we are talking about soil lol.

@ rought 6:30 Im so glad he talks about this. It's good to see that others are aware & have actually read the full documents on what is & isn't considered organic by the state. Because technically the word "Organic" has lost its meaning through over use. Which creates discrepancies in what it is defined as & causes it to lose it's standardization.

Also if you malt then dry your grains.......then soak them in a bucket of water with a loose fitting lid lacto will usually kick off on its own. In the moonshine world it's we call it "souring" the malt. Very distinct smell and taste profile. It doesn't really effect the amylase enzymes when you sour it either.
@BuildASoil2 жыл бұрын
Exactly!!! Back in the day another company said that malted grains were a contamination source and disease vector so we sent a random bag to the lab and it was predominantly lacto which was rad to see and makes this make even more sense
@PoppaLongroach2 жыл бұрын
@@BuildASoil that's exactly what I said......you helped it make more sense for me! I keep a large yeast culture infected with lacto. When it's time to get new run of sour mash goin in the spring I simply take some yeast from my culture then grow it in water, sugar and lil corn malt to start new mash and know the lacto will already be there!

Those are indeed quotes from me as that was what I was told back on May 27th. Further explanation by Jeremy informed me that only positive reviews are auto published, and even some of those aren't auto-published in cases where there may be "profanity" which can range from flagrant profanity to mild language that could be interpreted as offensive. I will forward this to Jeremy when he is back. Zach Branso
@BuildASoil2 жыл бұрын
Branson was misinformed. Partially because the triggers where setup long ago. Our Review system blocks reviews with images for human review to make sure that there aren't any crazy photos publishing all over the site. All reviews 1-5 start are otherwise auto published. There is a profanity filter that sometimes get's weird but I've de-activated that and most reviews just publish. If thee is an issue, we are here to make it right. Please email support@BuildASoil.com and reference this conversation and I'll personally follow up to see what's going on. Also, as far as comments on youtube, we don't remove them but KZbin default filters by popularity. To see these comments that seem to go away, click the filter at the top and select Newest first and see if can now find your comments. Thats how I found this one.

I’m sure your not asking me but I have been in the same circumstance except minus the clay and tons of sand. I have been tilled in compost(never till again). Ever since been top dressing. In fact, harvested watermelon a few days ago in the winter. So I guess the soil isn’t bad since it kept my grow season well into winter. Partly because I’m in Florida but I’m most northern part. Right now 8m cover cropping with daikon, rye
