As a 60 year old man who lost everything back in 2018 I became homeless , with nowhere to turn and no family to help me out . I don't do shelters here in NYC because they're the pits . Anyway, I'm not looking for anything from you or anyone else but all i do wanna say is that you are an awesome young man and whoever else helped in making this project. I hope Todd is feeling and doing well.I just subscribed to your channel as I was watching and listening to what you was saying . Brother , it's people like you , those involved in things like this is what makes this worth living . Thank you for looking out for those in need of shelter. May God bless you always 💯❤️🙏🏻😇😎✌️👍

Remember this and you can believe it , everytime you help someone , you get it back double. Regardless of my situation, I help others out and mind you I'm not only homeless but I'm homeless with diabetes , high blood pressure, high cholesterol and in need of a hip replacement since 2016 . So regardless of all that you wouldn't think I would help people but I do because it makes me feel happy . So do what you do because you love it not because of KZbin. You know what I'm saying ? I too am not asking for ANYTHING but l lost the home l was renting for 11 years as the landlord sold it and l dont qualify for low income housing as l don't have 3 times the income to rent ratio, although l am 61 and disabled, it doesn't matter - so now my son is homeless as well... He is on the streets trying to survive and I am sleeping wherever I can, so this is just an amazing thing you are doing for others!!! There needs to be more ppl like this in the world... You can see at 5:40 they have a wooden latch on the inside that looks to be away from door gap. I also noticed the out side latch should be able to disengage from the inside I'd some one tries to prank you, so it seems to be thought out. Unfortunately there is only so much a lock can do for something like this since some one determined can cut the bike lock and take whole thing.

@@buildersblueprint God is with me through this. I was diagnosed twelve years ago with stage IV colon cancer and told I would be dead in two years or less. I've had three reoccurrences and have recently completed my latest treatment. Where I've beat it back again after being told I wouldn't make it this time again. God has given me this disease to demonstrate his grace and to go out and Bear witness and give my testimony. Praise Jesus that I can be used this way. I have been watching your videos today because this is what I want to do. Build me a trailer and travel around and witness. Mine has to be a little stronger frame wise because I need to bring a solar generator, dometic fridge/freezer composting toilet, a water reservoir.

I think if you're going to invest in a generator and solar panel, the vessel itself should be better constructed. Maybe better and/or stronger materials. I understand you want to go light, but maybe an electric assist bike and a more stable floor and frame. Maybe a shelve or two. And even with the washers, a few bumps and those metal screws are going to tear into those panels.

There are big gaps in the door and the door is hung crooked. There is a gap in the back because the foam board does not meat the roof at the top. The door does not have a lock. Next time draw up plans and think ahead, this junk will fall apart fast!

The problem with this…..is that there are too many holes and slits for bugs to get into……the foam would never give a female a sense of safety because it’s too easy to break into…..the door you put on isn’t sealing correctly, and they would need a lock for the door to protect their belongings as well as a lock for the bike and trailer……an overhand would allow the door to be cracked open for ventilation if raining……

I don’t mean to pick. This is a kind gesture so just take this as constructive criticism. There needs to be more ventilation…WAY more than provided. And there needs to be possibly another way to escape what basically would end up feeling like living in a coffin. Is there a lock on the door? Plus I kid you not- the solar panel will be ripped off within a week by someone looking to get some extra bucks for it. There would have to be a more solid way of securing it to that it couldn’t be lifted. Brakes on the wheels, or some sort of theft/cruel prank prevention- so that no one could move it while he sleeps. I’d design pop out sides and ceiling to make it more like a mini camper to give more space but compact enough to travel with it. This is just too small. It’s not that I’d be ungrateful, but I can’t see this being too practical. I’m sorry to say. It’s a very kind gesture though.

I really appreciate the comment and we will continue to try to improve these tiny campers as best as we can. We do have very limited funds and are doing the best we can with what we have. But we will take your comment into consideration.

I sleep on a bicycle camper and sell it in the camper so I can still travel around without having to be hindered by costs. Can anyone help me design the camper?

You changed his life right there, Thank you for being a kind person who cares for others. This is a solution that anyone can do for another person in need. I hope you can continue doing this for others. The world needs more people like you who care enough to make a change in another persons life, we don't need judgmental people who look for and place blame on the individual but who looks for a solution to help another out in their hour of need. ♥
