I work on building the interior of the tiny glass micro house in the woods by siding the walls on the inside, installing the fireplace, some of the furniture, light fixtures and more.
I work on the exterior of the tiny a-frame cabin in the woods by adding modified cord wood siding to the face of the plywood. I also button up the rest of the exterior construction including window installation, doors, and plywood. I use board and baton milled from my portable sawmill to complete the outside of the tiny house in the woods.

This is my dream, the property and building all these neat builds. But, since I’m a 67 year old VERY arthritic woman not sure how much I can get done. Awesome build!! Really love the creativity and up-cycling of all of the materials you used. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. Unfortunate that you can't buy a piece of property in the U.S. and build something like this to live in without some jerk coming around whining about permits and codes, demanding money and submission to their self-serving bureaucratic red tape process or they'll bring in the gestapo and make it illegal to live there...on your own property. Mike Reynolds of Earthship Biotecture tried that very thing, with some absolutely amazing dwellings made of up-cycled materials, designed from the ground up to be both beautiful and self sufficient. The man is a trained architect, but that didn't stop corrupt government officials from trying to undo it all because he didn't pay for their permission or build the little pre-approved box houses allowed by their codes. Sadly, he had to give in and pay them off in order to keep his project alive.

I am in the process of building a handicap accessible camper van shuttle bus that is sturdy enough and holds the equipment necessary for a severely disabled person to lift him out of bed, power his hospital bed, breathing equipment and additional equipment necessary for his survival and comfort. Why? I think his last year(s) could be spent doing what we always planned to do. I have been trying to figure out what devices could power all of his equipment and still allow me to have a cup of coffee or tea when I want one. I think the Delta Flow Maxx will be up for the challenge. They are really really nice boxes!

You could put some shade cloth or heat shield inside that can roll down at night to help you keep the heat in the cabin when it cools down, they use that for greenhouses at night in the winter to help preserve the heat and keep it from leaving at night when the temp drops

When me and my Dad did projects or when I worked with him he had a thing he would say. "Hey, while you are resting" fill in the blank, from straighten these nails to sweep the job or run some scraps to the truck. And whenever a gentle breeze would blow through when we were working in summer pouring sweat he would stop tilt his head back close his eyes and say, "Thank you Lord for that". It's the small things that matter in life. Won't remember making a big paycheck but sure will remember my Dad eyes closed thanking God for a gentle breeze.

Great idea! Suggesting under candle add plate an on corners add springs hanging on some hook’s from underneath pipes. That way while burning will keep candle closed to pipes.Hopefully will help you with project and good luck.
