I heard this song on the radio, after my dad died, when I was driving home in his car full of all of his belongings....and I just drove as tears ran down my face knowing....that "THAT THIS IS NOT WHERE WE BELONG".....and it's not my dad's home, but he's home in Heaven, waiting for me to come home too. Thank you so much for writing this song, and for it becoming the anthem of hope in my heart for seeing my dad again, at HOME!

I found this song during my sister's battle and eventual loss to cancer. I still well up whenever i hear it, but it reminds me that we'll see each other once again. I am so sorry for your situation. I know that no matter how much love are behind people's words, it doesn't lessen the pain or fill the space of emptiness left no one else can fill. But there comes a day when we are together again. It doesn't stop the hurt now, but it is hope for now. A lifeline to grab when you feel like your going under for the last time. When you've done all that you can, and another step is impossible, stop, and just stand. Don't worry about what is ahead or behind, just stand until the Holy Spirit renews your strength. I’m about to be turning 20 by the next week from now. And which I’m not really to happy about cuz I just feel like life is just only getting worse for me as I’m going everyday. But I still do everything I can in my ability to pray and look to God only and my family that I’m with and that love me. And the sad thing is that I’ve honestly been struggling with loneliness over this past of last year. Since I moved away from where I lived at since I was a little boy. And I was kinda sad about it cuz on how I had so much memories with friends and people from school. And I was just deeply unhappy that I had to go. And I also struggled with a friend doing me wrong in so many ways. And which I might of also had faults myself in between just because how he kept doing me an over an over again. To where I just kept on doing my own personal mind games just to get him back. And which it was never worth it either for me all of those times. But then I eventually got tired out with it. And begged God to just remove that friend in Jesus name he’s forever in your hands. And no longer mind. And it’s already been months I could say since throughout last year. When I allowed God to help me. With all of that drama I went through back then I’ve honestly felt a little better since then and which I still have awful days but I get through it and have faith that everything is going to get better for me and I have dreams that I would honestly want God to bring me and the desires for my future. And I believe that he is going to. As long as I just stick with him at times and not focus on anything else. But only him. And any people that I’ve known in my life who’s ever been and done me wrong i just rebuke them in the mighty name of Jesus they’re all forever in your hands. And I believe that I officially have break free from all of this since then. And let it go and let it stay gone. In Jesus Christ name Amen 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

One night I was home worrying about everything and felt all alone. I was praying and searching for answers from God everywhere I could. I glanced up in a kitchen cabinet and there were the words to this song up there. I didn't even know the song. I read the words as of they were straight from God. I found out later that my daughter had written down the words to it to practice singing it! Wow it's amazing how God sends little signs if we ask Him! It was the dark night of the soul for me. Now this song reminds me of that night when I needed God's comfort and reassuring strength! I find His direction in some of the most odd situations and the signs come and I can't help but laugh and just believe He has our best interests at heart!

The first time I heard (or heard of) this song was the first time I went into prison as a volunteer. The praise band was playing and singing it. I saw forty two saved convicts jumping in the air singing along with an exultation that I not only had never witnessed before, but quite literally had never imagined possible. How could these men radiate such joy? They were in prison. I couldn't get my head around it. These guys weren't praising. They weren't worshipping. These men were having rapture practice. God's light shines brightest in the darkest places. That was nine years ago. I now work as a coordinator for a faith and character based program in that prison, and the men there are my brothers. Corrie Ten Boom nailed it: There is no hole so deep that God is not deeper still.

I had to say "no Lord, it won't" and ever since that time, I comfort myself with the fact that from eternity's standpoint, I have not suffered a great loss that must be experienced for my lifetime. Matthew 24:36, Matthew 25 13 and Mark 13:32 The bridegroom is going to the wedding. Matthew 25:10 The judgment of the ones left behind are with the hypocrites. Matthew 24:51 There is a door the righteous go through. When the Son of Man leaves on a far journey, when He returns, there is no mention of eternal destruction. The warning is not to be sleeping. Matthew 25:10 and Mark 13:34 THE SECOND COMING SEPARATION This separation happens when the power of the holy people is completely shattered. The Fig Tree is decimated mid-trib and the woman is hid in the wilderness for 3 ½ years. Daniel 12:7, Rev 12 6 The wicked are taken Matthew 13:41 On the same day of the separation, the wicked are taken first and destroyed. Matthew 13:30 and Luke 17:37 The ones taken are taken into eternal darkness or eternal fire. Luke 17:30 The separation is "in that night" after the sun and moon are darkened. Luke 17:34 There re 2 watches for this event for a few hours. Luke 12:38 This is the day the 7th trumpet will sound. Matthew 24 31 and Rev 11 15-18 It is the last day of Daniel's 70th week. Rev 12 6, Zech 14 6-8, and Daniel 7 25 There will be a resurrection of Old Testament Saints 1260 days from the Abomination of Desolation. And the wicked that pierced the Lord. The date will be known years before the event. Daniel 12 1-7 The bridegroom is coming from the wedding. Luke 12 36 The judgment of the ones taken are with unbelievers. Luke 17 46 When the Lord comes back and there is eternal destruction, like a servant being cast into eternal darkness or different beatings, this is at the second coming. Luke 12 47-48 The wise servants are told to look up after the sun and moon are darkened, for their redemption draws near. It has not happened yet. They will know the day of the second coming before the event happens. Luke 21 25-28

Going to my first “Celebrate Recovery” a little over 10 yrs ago, I turned on KLOVE and this was the first song I heard on the way there. THEN when I left it was first song playing. I first heard this song 10 years ago and loved it. I’ve had the lord in my life and then back slid many many times. I lost my dad in May of this year to pancreatic cancer and his passing has really made me realize that life is short and Jesus loves me even though I’ve made mistakes and not good ones. I’m going to celebrate recovery meetings because I know that’s what my dad would want me to do and I’m doing it for myself so I can better my life and be the mom my kids deserve and the Grammy that my granddaughter deserves. This song truly inspires me to do better. Every time I listen to it I get goosebumps.
