I think John has to be the only one running an AMD CPU in their friend group. Feels like they’re all using 13900k’s. I also love the 3D vcache chips! I got the 7800X3D and all that on the single die is awesome it rips

the 4090 needs about 450w but get an extra 100w just incase and also just to tell you the ssd slot with the thermal cover (black cover with thermal pads) is the number 1 slot that you need to prioritise

front mount rad is 1000% fine.. the ONLY thing that matters is that the PUMP is higher than the highest point of the RADIATOR... yes top mount is better thermals but not for the cpu, only the gpu and barely (2-4c if that).

That artic liquid freezer 2 420mm is huge I don’t think it would fit on top with his case and flipping it isn’t possible since the cooling loop isn’t long enough to fit over the 4090. I put it vertically the same way on the lian li dynamic evo XL and also set up noctua 140mm fans on the other side of the radiator for extreme airflow to cool my 14900k. And as long as the cooling loop is lowest at the pump it’s fine all that matters is the air bubbles need to be able to rise.

@@CalyX. EVGA stopped making graphics cards like a year ago and theyre about to close shop lol. I have the same Thermaltake PC Case and the only thing I don't like about it is its bulky size and weight. Other than that, because it's so big and has open panels, the airflow is insane and my stock fan-cooled 2070 never hits 60C in any game. CPU does get a bit warm and hits mid 60s and sometimes scratches 70. But that's cus I'm using an 8 year old i7-6700K to run more modern games in 240 FPS.

bro wasted so much money.. could of got faster ram for $100 cheaper. overspent on a 420aio when all he needed was a 360aio. overspend on a 7950x3d when could of got the BETTER and cheaper 7800x3d, Wasted $300+ on pcie gen 4 and gen 5 m.2 drives. gen 3 m.2 are all anyone needs.. Overspent on the b series MB, could of gotten a BETTER z790 board for cheaper. and HELLA overspend on that PSU. PLENTY of other 1000w atx3.0 psu for well under $200 name brand. I could of built a better pc for $2600

Because they are 2x slower (no gen4) than competitors are unreliable and have shit warranty. It's a budget part for a reason and for content creators it doesn't make sense to be cheap on the most important part for them. If it fails, they lose more than someone who has nothing important. If your livelihood depends on something, wouldn't you get the best within your means? For example, if you ran a lawncare business would you buy the cheapest push mower that took 4x longer and has a 50% chance of breaking on every job?

Shush child I've worked at a custom fab shop for 10 years before transferring to private sector IT. Samsung and Western digital are the two top rated brands with some of the lowest failure rate. My current job our servers have all been swapped to WD Blue (for gaming and personal I prefer WD Black) or Sabrent(commercial 8tb) drives. "Bang for your buck" is something that only a teen would have to consider as a $50 difference means nothing to an adult with a job. Are there cheaper options? Yes. Are those cheaper options worth risking in any professional setting? Not a chance.@@oz5150

There’s no need for either of them if all he’s doing is streaming and gaming. The Taichi board is debatable as well.
