Building A 6 Man Duck Blind!

We finally get to building a duck blind for one of our duck holes! Ever since last years duck opener we knew that spot warranted a duck blind, and we finally got to building it. The whole project was pretty simple, and honestly it's a great project if you have some kids who can help!
We built the whole frame out of pressure treated 2x4's and covered the outside with rough cut pine, if you are looking to build a quick and easy duck or goose blind this should fit the bill.

Thanks dude! The length is 12' and the width is 4', the roof is 2' and we cut the tin at 3' for overhang on the front and back. Appreciate you watching 🤙🏼

I'm like 6' 2" and can stand up at the front of the roof without hitting my head. We just made it so we had clearance standing at the front and enough clearance at the back when we were sitting down. Hope that helps!

Can you share the amount/what kind of lumber you got, and the all around measurements? I’ve been looking to do something like this for a while, but this sealed the deal!

Here's the material list, I'll be doing a follow up video here within the next week or so showing how we finished it up and will touch on specific measurements. If you have any other questions let me know! Pressure Treated: 9- 2x4x12 12- 2x4x8 1- 2x8x12 (seat) Siding: 200 Sq Ft of whatever boards you want to use Roofing: 4 lengths of tin (3' coverage) cut to 36" or whatever length you decide to make the roof.

I'm curious about what you guys did with the door? I asked because I just built my blind and it was super easy thank you.

We actually just left it open and are going to kind of build it out with brush. With where our blind is set and the tree cover we have the door won't be much of a worry. If I was going to throw a door on I would build a frame out of 1" pine and staple chicken wire to it so I could weave some brush into it. It wasn't super fun, haha. But we just loaded it on a trailer and positioned it with a backhoe. With that being said the next one will just get built in place lol. Thanks for watching 🤙🏼
