I can always recognize an actor's voice in a voice acting performance, but Toby Kebbell completely disappears when playing Koba. I simply don't get it. It's amazing.

That’s partially the result of audio manipulation. If you watch the trailer for Kingdom of the POTA, you can tell they did the same thing with Kevin durand’s character. Still, Toby did a great job 👍

Koba was my favourite because he was such an extraordinary villain. I also feared him very much, there was the grit in his voice that made him into this monster that only Caesar could see.

And if Caesar did have a shitty childhood and let a hatred for humans consume him, then he would’ve ended up just like Koba. Caesar and Koba are basically each other’s counterpart. Caesar is Koba’s Good counterpart and Koba is Caesar’s evil counterpart.
