I had the exact same model and same color. In the same way, I put in suspension with height adjustment and attached Alpina aluminum wheels with inch up. It's a sedan, but it's a very fun car, and I miss it.

Fantastic work! Which suspension set up did you use? I have an E34 540i6 from 1996 which still has the original 'M tech' sports suspension. It definitely needs overhauling soon!

Thank you! And i used Maxpeedingrods Coilovers but the the front was pretty tricky to work with and ride stiff. I’d recommend maybe going with a different brand

i actually got that same exact suspension for my 525i and it didnt fit the same way so i grinded the top part that holds the spring, installed it and the bolt was barely on so i decided to get some decent coilovers because these maxpeed racing rods are just sketchy.

How did the valve cover paint hold up? You always hear how the magnesium valve covers like on M50 and M60 are impossible to paint without the paint cracking after a little while
