It's a Deeper - A fish finder. The ball is the transducer, and it transmits the data to your phone which then displays the data.

One of my best boats ever was a 15 foot Pelican, flat bottom, 36 inch beam. Got it for $350.00 new at Dick's. Built a motor mount and added a 30lb thrust Motorguide trolling motor. Great setup for cheap. Basically indestructible, but a bit heavy. Wish I'd never sold it.

I just bought an old Coleman 15’ for $250 with 2 paddles and a Mina Kota electric motor. I will have to deal with a heavy deep cycle battery. Add an inverter so I have power for all my needs. Looking forward to a week long canoe camping trip.

This is true. Lots of people can afford new stuff, or more expensive used gear which is easier to come by. For those who can't you've gotta be willing to put in the time and effort. Or get lucky and have a friend who wants to get rid of theirs... 🤷

Yes! We use a Deeper Chirp+ 2 for all our Canoe fishing and they're great units. Very reliable, accurate, and perfect for packing light with minimal bulk. There's a video review of the Deeper Sonar on the channel.

I'm not much for canoes, but the Weekend Hooker is sweeeet! And that was an outrageous deal on a Canoe PLUS two paddles!! You won't see deals like that these days
