Unboxing and subsequent assembly of kit 9 - the hornplates and spectacle plates. Kit 9 was delivered on 22nd April 2014.

What glue do u use to stick the rivets in

Mark Andrews Hi Mark, I just used the high temperature loctite stuff that they provided with one of the earlier kits.

personally i would silver solder the rivets in place

you could even countersink the back, and hammer them in, like a rivet..

I don't think using a drill to countersink is a good idea. Countersinks are cheap and do the job properly. Other than that - good job.

Thanks for the feedback - since this video I have purchased a few countersinks of various sizes! Having trouble with chatter when using them (and wanting a nice finish) though but that's perhaps another story...
