The dichotomy of aggressive advice and a diy cat house video is almost comedy
@Batya-Grace4 ай бұрын
How is that a dichotomy? They are literally doing construction work. The fact that it’s a cat house means nothing. It’s the same hard work as building a shed, or a backyard patio.
@Mastermind4life4 ай бұрын
is it really though? @@Batya-Grace catio < shed < patio

I think you maybe all watched the video on mute - what I’m saying is the aggressive/judgy advice is a stark contrast to the fun/lighthearted catio build. Strange audio choice for this content and it makes it funny.

Problem is what happens if you die in your 30s? You wasted your young days busting ur ass for someone else with no good memories to show for it. I prefer my fond memories and I had a blast young and im still doing good for myself. I wouldn't trade my memories for anything, the majority of people who worked none stop maybe rich but are miserable dicks but they never got a chance to be free and have fun.

Is it worth it to gain the whole world and lose your soul? It’s not about being a workaholic. That’s not healthy either. I think there should be a balance, but I think for those who have goals, it shows they have a vision. It’s good to have a vision. The Bible says, “without a vision, my people perish.” If you spend your whole young adult years living it up, you will have some good memories, but no investment into your future. That doesn’t necessarily mean money. It could mean skills too.

I guess the audio is there to generate comments and kick the algorithm into gear? So here you go. You can work hard and have fun. They’re not mutually exclusive. I’m so glad I partied while I was young. Now I have good memories to look back on.

What wood did you use to build that! Pressure treated lumber or wood you treated your self with a polyurethane or something to weather proof it

You’re Awesome!!! That’s exactly how it should be. Work hard while you’re young so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor later in life. You will also be able to help others because you will be financially set. You don’t want to have a ton of regrets about what you should have done so do it while you’re young!!! Love your advice, I just hope they listen. Thank you!! PS Cool Catio, I’m having one built in similar fashion tomorrow 👍

That audio sucks. Don’t work yourself to death in your 20s "getting rich" when the amount of wealth you can earn is capped and based entirely on luck. Go out to parties if you want to. If you don't, don't. Read a book if you want to. Work only if you want to and it brings you joy. You shouldn't be made to feel guilty because you haven't maximized productivity. We live to live, not to work.

Agree! When I was young I had 2 full time jobs. Worked 6:30am-2:30pm and then 3pm-midnight. Didn’t even phase me. Ate when I could, slept when I felt like it. I was never tired!! Now I’m a mama to many babies and don’t have 60 seconds to myself haha

The audio is also a lie. Life is a work life balance. Don’t let the world turn you into a slave. Terrible advice. My sister is a nurse and still gets to have fun. Ridiculous notions to work your youth away. So lame. Make friends and enjoy life. Any old person will tell you the same. The rich lonely ones are miserable trust me.

Oh nooo. You have so much power as a human. Strengthen yourself. 🌻Even If you won't do it for yourself, use your power to help others. But don't waste it. Also you might hurt someone else in a car crash.
