This seems like a great video, unfortunately it has no sound. Tried 3 browsers and 2 systems.

Thanks for the video. Is there also an upgrade order when you want to upgrade FortiSwitchOS?

Really sorry about the late answer. In case you havent found out already i would guide you to the release notes. Mostly it is not necessary to follow an upgrade patch for FSW but just in case, read the release notes.

@@fortifred Thanks, and no problem. The release notes are sometimes a bit vague about this.

@@DannyMaas Check the compatibility list in the support portal. Some versions aren't happy when you mix them.

Hello, do you know if there is any FortiSwitch VM publicly available. I know about fortigate VM but I wanted to make a full lab and test this.

what if i had a +3 AGG Switches? where should i configure the ICL link? and would it be necessary to have more than one link? one link for ICL and the rest auto-isl ?

Hi, sorry about the late answer. You can only have 2 switches in a MCLAG-pair. The ICL should always be redundant in a production environment in case of an optic failure. And of course it is also possible to dual-connect each member in a MCLAG-pair upstreams or downstreams.

@@fortifred At first thank you for your excellent video. Do you have an idea why this network topology didn't made it into the FortiSwitch documentation? What I really like is the low amount of ports needed to setup this network - especially if using 10 GB/s ports for upstream / icl. While FortiSwitch models only have 4x 10 GB/s ports, this is relevant when trying to connect also two servers to the Core-Switches with 10 GB/s.
