At first I thought the building in Enshrouded was pretty basic, but after spending more time with it I realize how much you can actually do and I find it impressive. The ability to create walls and then remove 1 block sections, dig tunnels under your base, different types of lighting or even adding secret doors to other rooms.. it's quite a lot you can get done creatively. Most other games that have in depth building like this aren't also loaded with other great escapes. Tired of building? Go explore. Tired of that? Go smash some enemies heads' in. The combat is satisfying, the building is intuitive, the crafting is deep and intriguing.. I am glad I didn't pass up on this game. Most fun I've had with a PC game in easily a decade.

I builded a little Village in my Savegame instead of only one House, and I used in one House Standard Stone Bricks and Defense Wall Bricks (the ones that looks more old, weathered and with some wines on them). I builded a Living Part and the Forge beneth it and I found an interesting "Bug" I think... When I go into the forge part, you wouldn't encounter anything strange. But if I go into the living Quarter part, there are all kinds of strange noises in the background. You could think there is some kind of Ghost there. The cosy home becomes spooky from it. Funny thing is: It is made out of Half-timbered house blocks, Pillars of Standard Stone Blocks and this Defense Wall Bricks, with a Floor made out of red wooden blocks and grey shingles for the roof. Also, if you make a House, compleatly out of stone, you get a pretty hefty hall sound in them. xD I like your houses, but it would be interesting to see, how you would make a complete Village with streets, an outer wall and houses / Workplaces for each NPC and yourself. ^^
