The native dashboard is limited, because it forces to a limit of views, you can't use two or more pivot views and that's why almost everyone has to develop an independent dashboard like this one

@@ylin51 the same goes with graph and Gantt view on the native dashboard, Odoo doesn't care yet about that view and force us to use their limited reporting

Yes, that's exactly the idea. Not all users need to see all the information, and they also need to see different information combined in different forms.

The last question about Dashboards, I was wondering the same thing. Building something outside of Odoo is going to be a problem when trying to update to newer versions. It would have been great seeing a real comparisson of dashboards vs a custom app, and reaaly see the limitations and tradeoffs.

No, new versions won't be a problem, because you use odoo controllers, and it works in a very simple way. The real problem is the maintenance of this vue/react app, because it is completely outside of odoo.
