I did the same thing to my dewalt box. The one that the drawer system snaps onto. I have a smaller battery but it worked really well and I still have room for tackle. Love videos like this.

If you find your chicks wasting feed by spreading it around in the pine shavings you can add water to it. I found a quart of water to one of the long feeders worked about right. Chicks went through less water doing this. 🐥

I saw one of your videos where you built a kayak cart on caster wheels, I’m gonna try and repeat one for my AP120, let’s see how that one comes out. On your video I saw that to had a Guardian Angel light in the front. How is the magnet being held to the kayak? If I have to I will but I’d prefer not to drill into it. Thank yiu

Do those batteries not get warm when you use them? Because I’d be worried about it overheating since it’s completely encased and there’s no ventilation

No, they do not. You can completely seal off a lithium battery.

And yes, I plan on building something like this for my kayak when it arrives. I have the Dakota Lithium 10 amp 12 V battery. I am not running a motor, just the Lowrance Elite 9 Ti, and two GoPro HERO 11 Black cameras. BTW, what GoPro are you running? I have tried to connect my Hero 11 Black to external power but it keeps shutting down with no battery in the camera... is there a setting that I am missing? Your help would be GREATLY appreciated..... Thanks in advance!!!!

GoPro hero 10, you have to remove the battery if you plan to keep it plugged into a power source . 👍🏼

Kayak fishing, for me, is about embracing the primal allure of the sport and seeking out those elusive, hard-to-reach fishing spots that traditional bass boats simply can't access. There's a certain magic in paddling quietly through serene waters, feeling intimately connected to nature, and relying on skill and intuition rather than modern amenities. It's the thrill of the hunt, the challenge of the chase, and the satisfaction of landing a prized catch against the odds. In essence, kayak fishing is about returning to our roots and experiencing the purest form of angling.

I’m at a loss in finding a buyable battery box designed for lithium ion batteries I purchased a Newport smart box, but after it got here it says it’s not designed for lithium batteries. Where can I find a box? Any help would Be awesome.
