is there a way with Webflow and any of its 3rd party tools, to verify data. idk if that's the right term but. for example: I have a built in comment section and if I post a comment and then want to delete it, how could I check that its me that wants to delete it? maybe memeberstack to show the delete button but when it goes threw zapier or make is there any way of checking that? thx

As shown in the vid, dashboards as well as portals built on top of existing data (AirTable, Sheets, even Excel) are quick and easy to spin up, especially once you understand how all the building blocks work. Note: these dashboards were built using Glide Pages which is a newer (and better) version of Glide Apps which you may already be familiar with.

Good stuff Connor... didn't quite get it... are you sending users to these glide apps from within the webflow site, or does this replace webflow altogether? Glide has no password acces, has it? (No membership app), so how you gating these profile to each user?

Straight onto the Pro plan haha, but it's actually pretty generous because they allow for unlimited apps

I feel like glide will win out over most other platforms. They just need to allow for a little more customization (simple things like resize a button) and need more design options.

Have you tried softr? How does it compare?

@@joachim_br I did. It is fine. Has lots of limitations. But visually, you can always tell “this is a softr website”. Simple use cases no problem. Tougher stuff no good.

Just tried out Glide after watching this. I traditionally user Stacker for all Airtable apps. Glide does not appear to support linked fields in Airtable. So related fields will not show up in Glide. You can use related fields if you use Glide's database as your datasource, but you lose almost all automation options (no real Zapier integration with Glide). Unless I am missing something, I'd me fascinated to understand how you actually built this without related your "freelancers" with your "project" table, etc.

None of my automation is powered by glide. It all runs via changes that happen in Airtable which glide syncs with.

@@mariuszjankowski3593 i was about to dive into wized until I just so happened to run into glide. I think design is really lacking in glide, but ease of use and time to build is top notch. Unfortunately the design makes it look “dated” and unprofessional in some cases. If glide keeps improving though, will be tough to match.

@@TorontoRealtorAndre I like Glide, however wized currently gives you more options to build the backend you want. It took me 3 days to build a fully functionality customer dashboard + Airtable

@@TorontoRealtorAndre I have another website, with dog-friendly locations in our country. Would like to make an app and connect the database with that app. App should have a location-based search function. So Glide, or Adalo? Or something completely different?

This could be a gamchanger. I've run into a problem though - I can't find a way to push glide to update it's database after changes within airtable. It works great the other way around. Anyone got any ideas? Integromat hasnt got any glide integrations as yet so can't see it working that way.

It syncs automatically. You don’t need to update Airtable after making changes in glide because glide essentially mirrors Airtable. This might not apply if you are using glides internal database though.

@@connorfinlayson Yes definitely updates immediately when changes are made in the glide database, but I have jotform feeding into airtable which then needs to update to glide as quickly as possible for user experience. Apparently it only checks every 3 minutes for this on pro plan. Any ideas?

Hi Connor! How are you going to use Memberstack and Glide together? I can imagine that a user needs to login twice with these tools together on your platform.

I might not use both together. I think there you can make a case for using only one of the other.
