In a VM environment, RAM above all. 8Gb will not cut it. Consider 32Gb+

This is really cool I'm gonna try and replicate this project myself. Keep the good vids coming and it's actually really cool to see you grow from when you 1st started the channel as a semi awkward cyber student to someone whose more than confident to be a weirdo on the internet can wait to see you hit 100,000 subscribers.👍🏼

Thats funny, I‘m doing pretty much the same setup at home, just with a Samba 4 Server, not only AD. I‘m currently becoming a sysadmin and into pentesting.

do you have a newer version of this as it's now 3-years old... no worries if you don't. starting a new one (lab) (two old old dell servers, old gaming machine, couple misc. purpose PC's (nothing new but adequate). layer 3 switch, etc. I've got pfSense on the misc. pc ready to go with just the base config (probably need to upgrade pfSense since it's about 4 months old download and I need to add all the services to pfSense - like I need to pick which services to activate-i'll watch a few Lawrence Systems videos again to get a refresher on the pfSense,)

Muhammad Ahmad السلام عليكم ي اخي اولاً يجب ان تتعلم Python 🐍
@collinsinfosec
@collinsinfosec 4 жыл бұрын
1: I would recommend learning Python! But that's just me. You could choose any popular language, although there will be better ones for cybersecurity use cases like Python, JavaScript, C, C++, Bash Scripting, and Java. The goal should be to stick to one for a little while. Learn the fundamentals of the language and then you could move laterally into another language. 2: I have learned from both. I will say, a lot of cybersecurity, in my personal opinion, is self-study. You can learn some great things in class, but most of my knowledge has come from investing time into studying on my own and applying what I have learned through side-projects. Hope this helps.
