Pretty cool diner kit-bash. Love the paint technique. I've got my Murky Brown, and it and my Iced coffee have become my favorites 😀 Have used your gray-over-black paper roof technique also a couple of times now, to good results, finishing it off with pan pastels. Awesome video, as usual. Thanks for all the tricks and hints!

Your work is fantastic, you are a true artist in this hobby your attention to details and color selection to achieve such realism is amazing. I only wish you modeled in F scale (1:20.3) and that the building kits you use were available to us modeling in this large scale. There are very few wood building kits available in F scale, I believe this may be due to the fact that many who model this scale have outside garden railroads and they would not hold up, but us few who do model indoors would love to have the building resources the smaller scale modelers have. Like you I am amazed at George Sellios’ Franklin & South Manchester, some of the few layouts in F scale that achieve the same level of detail are the Sundance Central and Tom Miller’s F scale layout. Again beautiful workmanship and artistic talent, love your work and your channel .

Hello Jason, I've applied many of the skills learned from you on various structure kits including wood, plastic and hydrocal. All have given me some great looking structures with custom ammenties. I've had to adjust some techniques, primers, paints & adhesives with the different kits but all in all very pleased with results. Thanks again, your an awesome modeler and I appreciate the many lessons.

Jason, that was fascinating to see how they came together. I was blown away by how putting the Iced Coffee over the 2 shades of blue brought the aged look to life! Then the Vetero, especially in the corners, was the icing on the cake. Awesome job.

Great kit bash Jason, this gives me some ideas for the dinner that will be on my layout. I like the color and weathering, the roof looks fantastic. I'll be using your roof weathering technique for a lot my tar paper roofs. The waterfront build is looking fantastic, just like the rest of the layout.

Hi Jason, the diner looks really nice. These Fosscale kits are great. End of last year I got my first two Fosscale kit delivered to me in Norway and was looking forward to assembling them. However, it turned out that some parts were missing. I tried to get in touch with Fosscale a couple of times, sent a few emails asking about the missing parts, but I'm not getting any reply. What would you suggest to get in touch? Regards, Paul

dumb question...does the glue hold wall parts together well, even after painting??? After I paint I have trouble gluing walls to each other? Thanks in advance
@henrykaldenbaugh23134 жыл бұрын
This is where your bracing comes in. You can also prime with a spray can primer and it will help prevent warping of the walls.

Fantastic little build.
