For the clear command error, you want to use interaction.response.defer() as the first response and then replace all instances of interaction.response with interaction.followup

I managed to fix the command error by putting "await interaction.response.send_message(f"{amount} messages are being deleted, please wait...", ephemeral=True)" after the return
