Can you try harp tuning for a 7 string instrument with a slide? It is cool, as every position of a slide creates a perfect octave.

May I suggest adding DIY string bender(s) to this? Love the buzz plate, sitar sound. Might try this angle iron construction tech, for my next build. Thanks for the great videos, and best wishes for your continued success/happiness with music making 🎶🌎☮

It’s phenomenal. The sound coming from that instrument. Your KZbin fans love to see you create. (I was accidentally shown a video where a guy destroyed a baby grand with water. I felt like crying) Your fans watch you create amazing instruments out of even cans. In this destructive world, you are a breath of fresh air.

Oh that is lovely! I've got a slide guitar I made ages ago from a heavy plank of hardwood, some cheap acoustic guitar tuners. a spare pickup. Got bored with it, not much different from playing slide on a regular electric. But I've got a length of aluminium extrusion very like what you used. Want sitar!!

I see that you use the Sitar-Bridge without a sewing thread. Do you know, that you can improve the "buzzing" Sitar/Tampura-Sound, if you put a sewing thread underneath the strings on the bridge (just as seen on the Sample Tampura, you showed)? You then have to align the thread exactly to the right position on the bridge, then the sitar effect amplifies phenomenally!

It would appear that having a clean break gives clean tone and slow-soft rolloff gives the buzzes. What about making the piece of steel tilt with a screw adjust or even a lever to express on?
