Very cute hamster! Love the name too. However, I do have a few concerns.. the cage you have for your hamster is unsuitable. Cages must be at at least 460 sq in. The tubes are also very dangerous as the hamster can get stuck in them. His or her wheel is too small as well, and you can cause hamsters to have spine issues because of it. I truly wish you could have done more research on hamsters beforehand, but it’s not too late. It’s clear you care for the hamster, but please make its life better ❤️

I know you’re trying to do what you think is best for the hamster by providing it with a lot of tubes, but unfortunately this isn’t the best. I’ve owned hamsters for many years and have a pet channel if you’d be interested in learning more about proper hamster care. To keep it short, most people agree that hamsters should have at least 450 square inches of continuous floor space. While it doesn’t look as fun or colorful, most people prefer using 40 gallon aquariums for hamsters as they provide a great amount of appropriate space. It’s also very important to provide a big enough wheel at all times so that they don’t arch their back. Hamsters will run many miles in one night, so without a proper wheel they aren’t getting the exercise or mental stimulation needed to be happy and healthy.

Just a few tips on hamster care: hamsters generally don't like man made tunnel systems like that because they'd prefer to make their own tunnels and the systems stress them out which in turn can make them stop eating or may possibly lead to wet tail, which is a fatal disease in hamsters. Also, the hamster's wheel is far too small for a Syrian hamster and the bar through the middle of the wheele causes tention and stress on their spines. When a hamster's wheel is too small, they run with their back bent and this can cause back problems and arthritis very early in it's life time. please, just do reaserch on an animal before getting it. It's easier to just get all of the right stuff the first time around instead of wasting all of your money on all of those tunnels. I wish all of you and Peachy the best.

Tunnels are okay as long she has stops for food and water since you guys made it so long haha! Also she’s running a lot because hamsters run miles and miles at night and that was her first time being able to run - So please keep a bigger wheel for her long term THEY ARE ESSENTIAL TO THEIR DAILY LIFE :) Also I know you’re probably not going to get a cage with more floor space(450sq in minimum) since that’s what people told you in the comments of your last video but you still have the same tiny cage unfortunately :/ BUT PLEASE get a wheel! Idk what type of comments you were reading but I put so many comments telling you that that cage is too small. Just because it's small, doesn't mean it has floor space for them to run which is what that cage lacks. Also that wheel is super small and they can get back problems from arching their back on a wheel. Also I've heard of Syrian hamsters getting stuck in those tunnels and dying so keep an eye on that and plz listen to me and get a cage with at least 450 square inches OF FLOOR SPACE

Out of my experience with hamsters, I know that it is not uncommon for them to spend a lot of time on there spinning wheel. I also know that if you make something out of tubing for them, you should not just take it all apart and redo it, what you should do is just add on to it, because hamsters figure out where they are going inside the tubing after a while, but if you completely change it, they will get very confused, I hope this was useful.

Hey, just want to let you know, syrian hamsters need 80 by 50 cm of unbroken space, a 27cm wheel so they won't arch their backs and develop back problems in the future and you need to change the sand everyday. Advisably, wash her cage once a month only and remember to keep a little bit of old bedding when you change the bedding or wash the cage so that the cage has some familar scent and it won't stress her out. I've been a serious hamster owner for 3 years. You need a MUCH bigger cage, you need a much bigger wheel, and you need a lot fewer tubes. Syrian hamsters need at least 450 square inches (simply multiply the length by width of your ground space. Only the bottom level counts, more levels of the cage doesn't add extra square inches) and as for wheels, Syrian hamsters require an 8-11 inch wheel. If their back bends this may cause them to get extreme back pain. Although, they love running due to the wild habit of running 10+ miles at night in their natural habitat. Also, hamsters love to burrow but the small tubing of crittertrail tubes or other tubes may cause them to be extremely uncomfortable and it also provides terrible ventilation. Please don't ignore this comment, you shouldn't have a hamster for the sole reason of your youtube channel, the hamster is alive and deserves a long, well-lived life. I would request a 40-gallon aquarium or an Ikea detolf for cages because they are more on the expensive side but are better for your hamster in the long run. Please please PLEASE don't ignore this or any other comment telling you what's right. The care for a live animal is more important than being entertained by one.

if You add more tunnels then you are going to need little cages along the way for him to stop and eat, rest, ect. other wise he may end up getting lost, and may end up "losing" him. But I think the idea of running down the house to another room is good, just make sure he has rest places along the way.

What brand is your cage? If you have tiny tails brand cage your kaytee tubes should hook up, you might have to use a connector ring from the tiny tails tubes because the are able to connect on the inside and outside of the rings. Cheers

Peachy needs bigger cage, aquariums are the best 40 gallon at least. The wired cages are bad for hamsters, they can chew the plastic around the wire & get sick. Also leave some of the bedding aside when you clean out the cage, they get really stressed in new environments & it’s good to have old bedding with their scent on it. Also the tunnels are wayyyyy to small for Peachy.
