i just do it at the valley by the creek near my house, it's technically not owned since its a large drainage ditch, so I wouldn't really get in trouble, other than homeless people using it
@suruha23062 жыл бұрын
@@bingus3183 That's not so bad, is it?
@bingus31832 жыл бұрын
@@suruha2306 Yeah, but my neighbor, who is a firefighter, said that they will be practicing whitewater rescue, so they will flood the River, and the things i did might get washed up
@suruha2306 Жыл бұрын
@@bingus3183 Oh, no! That's a problem! LOL Sorry. Where I live, we try to accommodate the homeless. They can get to be kind of overwhelming, sometimes. But, for the most part, they just want to 'be'. There's a block of woods across from my home. I live in a city, but, it's in an older part of town. There's a camp in the middle of the woods. People have hung up cords and draped blankets over them. There was a lean-to shelter. It is cleared, so, hopefully, no threat of fires out of control. Not many know of its existence. Unless we have problems with someone that we know visits that camp, I let them be. I think they've realized that and have actually been respectful.

Pretty creative. It makes one wonder about the limits of a dugout. Could there be extra rooms? Bathrooms? Showers? I know you can pump gray water out of a tank by hand. But could you pump in water from the stream? Holding tanks? Hot water? Sky is the limit

I had a question can people just build a cabin anywhere in a forest/woods? or do they pay for the land?
@blaubarschbube4643 Жыл бұрын
Depends on the country, for example in my country germany that would be absolutely 100% illegal and can get you even jailtime i think (if you dont own the land)

Clever how u opened up the end of the top bunk so u both could see the wall mounted tv.... not sure what i think about the tree disc table... with your skills uld think u could come up with something more stylish yet natural and smooth... also i would plank a bunch of skids and use the boards as wall covering... as an extra bug and snake barrier. pretty slick little clubhouse u can sleep a few lads on the floor too with cots and sleeping bags i assume. but would not bee too hard to add another bunk to have all 4 of you with your own place to sleep. Envious i am ... I am building one in a ravine on my dad's property behind his business... the base of the ravine is very swampy but there is tons of wildlife... mainly racoons and vultures and hawks and various other small huntable critters. i plan to build mine inside the hill and have it hidden as well.... wanna use it to take photos of wildlife and to relax on weekends with a tomboyish and adventurous girlfriend. ... for that i gotta have a skylight .... which i was smart enuff to save from an old RV i gutted out... will have solar power and 50 amp electrical box. So i can set up an HDTV small appliances. Most everything else tho will be done by hand tools...

Just curious, what kind of drainage do you have planned for torrential rain? How are you going to avoid flooding via the sinkhole?
@mikhailmamontov318 Жыл бұрын
This is northern russia with low quality sandy soil and no torrential rain. You do not need any special drainage. But you will deal with cold and plenty of snow. There are many remains of such constructions from world war 2 with little water damage.

As am old builder living in a hi rainfall area and rocky ground I agree with you I have seen ground water problems
@cambellschunky704 Жыл бұрын
@@raycaster4398 Yes, maybe a plastic barrier as well to help funnel water into a very large sump. The only drawback is the lack of a pump to extract the water. There'll be a lot of bailing and if the structure is left unattended for a time, it may become a swimming pool.

@@terrymcnee3568 Do you still have water percolating up through the ground? Are you at any significant altitude?
