I'm really loving this series, my man. One of the best channels I have stumbled across lately, and I always love the smaller channels more than the huge channels with tons of cash and sponsors throwing parts on them for monster builds with nothing but the top of the line components.

Definitely do the BIOS update and try to get the blacked out Corsair RAM to work. Looks so much better than that ridiculous flared OLOY RGB RAM.

I agree, that black ram looked way better for sure. Honestly I am just a big fan of all 4 slots being full. I just think that in itself makes a pc look great

I'm not much of a PC builder myself, but there is something oddly comfy about watching someone else do it and troubleshooting issues. When I built my $550 HTPC back in 2020 with a r3 3200g and a RX 570, I didn't have too many issues crop up with the build process. Four years later and it's still running strong. It's mostly being used as a media center / Emulation box, and I've got a Series X and a PS5 to do a lot of the heavy lifting for modern games. This machine I've got is a retro gaming beast though. I love it still, and I'm honestly finding it hard to move on to upgrade in the next year. It's always difficult to say goodbye to your first build.

I would do the BIOS upgrade. When I build, I choose to upgrade BIOS on the motherboards I use whether required or not. It's in the same category as downloaded current drivers and updating windows and all firmware.

Yeah I think I will upgrade the bios on this pc just to put that black ram back in. I liked how that looked with the overall build way more.

This is crazy that 10th Gen i5 cpu is better then my i7 7700 cpu. I want that right now I want to upgrade but my Aurora r6 case sucks. I hate it and the fact that taking all of the parts out of the case will be such a big hassel that I am going to probably go with building my first one at 47 years old or buying another one through no compromise gaming pcs. I have owned one from them before but you pay so much for leasing a computer. You can't change up really much inside either when you do that. I love this channel. I like that you build from cheap.

Check out episode 7 then. I used eBay to build a flip pc, made like $160 off that build and anybody could have bought those parts. The deals are there you just have to hunt my dude

I like to see what you can pull off as I am always looking and seeing what is available locally myself. This is what I put together in late April/May for $621. An $120 "acceptable" Amazon warehouse Z690 Tomahawk DDR4 that still had the film on the heatsinks, $65 13100f from one of the couple times Bestbuy had them at that price, $42 16GB Corsair 3200 off Amazon, $42 1TB Crucial P3 M.2, an $210 XFX rx 6700 10gb 5 month old card locally, an 1 year old Corsair rm850x PSU locally, and an $63 Fractal Pop Air from Newegg. I think at the time I could have only saved $9-10 if I would have got slightly cheaper ram and ssd. I had been on an 2500k with 1GB 5870 for most of 12 years before that.

Lol I had footage of it but if you watch the video closely I actually had to switch the orientation of the cpu cooler brackets to change the direction of the AIO tubes so in the process I had to reapply the paste and it did not look good so I did not add that clip

Do you sell these computers with a wifi card or do you always sell them without a wifi card?

I do not add Wi-Fi to computers that don’t come with it already built in. I try not to add money to the builds as much as I can. If the person buying the computer does not want to hardline in then they can buy a usb Wi-Fi adapter or card if they want

I actually did the bios update and the motherboard was still having a issue picking up that ram. I tested the kit on a different pc and it worked great. Not sure why this board hates 4x4 ram so much

1,2k for Ryzen 5 5600g with 8gb ram and a rx 6600? What the actual heck... even scammer websites are more serious than that. This is actually more like a 500$ - 600$ PC. Even tho it's still absolute crap. If you actually want to have a proper gaming PC, you will have to spend around 2k - 2,5k but not on crap of course. Everything below is simply not worth it, rather save that money. And of course I am talking about actual gaming, not playing all these shooters like Apex, CS, Fornite etc... you can play that on a toaster nowadays.
