The Isenhouer Brothers take an (almost) stock 90's Ford Lightning and turn it into a rock ready beast all in the matter of 2 weeks. Forced to burn the midnight oil night after night, Nick, Chris, and Ian may have lost their sanity in the process. It took everything they had, but they finished it at the 11th hour less than 24 hours before they planned to be in Moab, Utah for Easter Jeep Safari.

I did a 4x4 conversion on mine back when I was 19-20. Pretty simple. Only thing different about the transmissions is the 4x4 E4OD has a shorter output shaft

I'm not mad at all, I probably would have gone more of a 2wd prerunner long travel type build. That's just me though. Maybe cut the back of the cab and the front of the bed out and have a removable fiberglass roof, like a LWB Lightning Bronco. Either way pretty cool. I have a white 1994 F250 reg cab, long bed 2wd, 393w forged piston + rods stroker, 165cc AFRs, 1.7 rockers, Lightning lower, Explorer upper intake, 70mm TB, '93 Cobra Maf, 24lb injectors, Maf conversion 5.0 Mustang type efi, Doug's Tri-Y stainless long tubes into a 4" MBRP diesel exhaust, emissions delete, 180 stat, electric fans, 4 core rad, rebuilt ZF-5 S42 manual trans, Lightning seats, factory Alcoa wheels with Michelins, high trim door cards, bluetooth head unit. Sort of a 3/4t manual trans Lightning. If you want to have something like it built that will get you tons of power and pass CA emissions, contact my friend who owns the AHRA(No Name Nationals)Dallas Brown, he is from San Diego and he built the truck. He knows how to build a mean recipe with CARB legal and factory Ford parts. It probably makes 300-400hp and 500+ft/lbs, it was designed to make tons of TQ for towing and hauling. It's able to pull down close to 20mpg hwy empty too.

I'm sure someone does, there's almost more Ranger support than 1980-1997 OBS F-Series now. You can't get good headers, not many 351w lower intakes, gotta use heads meant for 5.0s, bore outthe stud holes and make up for the tiny chambers. You can build a stroker easy enough and use bux up Holley EFI so there's that at least.
