Oh my goodness I felt like crying I’m a Maori Women living in Sydney with my Australian partner and it was so Beautiful hearing Po Karekare Ana sung so wonderfully with such appreciation. My Grandad was a white New Zealander and he would always sing this song to his many grandchildren. Love love loved it 😍

What a gorgeous video I have never commented before, bit shy, but just had to. Sitting here early morning in paradise in Pahi, 1 hour out of Auckland thank heavens and there you both are, sharing more of what you do. Was in your shop a month back and bought a lovely pair of gilded curtain tie backs, they'll go somewhere. I like the slower way you video the brocantes too, others whizz around creating a blur of the items on offer. Great singing, was a real surprise. Am looking forward to the next episode. I love the 'in progress' views of your garden, all the lovely vide grenier and brocante treasures you find, as well as how you actually live while you're there in France. I think this was my favourite video so far in that regard. Also, Nic, great job on the statue restorations. I'm so glad you rescued Mother Mary... she now looks beautiful again! New subscriber here! I've finally found someone who vlogs the Brocante markets.....oh, I'm living vicariously through you over here in Florida! I have been binge-watching your videos - can't get enough! Your home...oh so incredibly lovely and beautiful. I grew up in the south (Alabama) and my parents always lived in older homes. The last home my parents lived in was a Victorian and it had amazing woodwork and fireplace mantels and detailing, but the homes in France make our older homes pale in comparison. Thank you for filming all your finds at the market....I'm literally dropping my jaw as I see all the pretty things in the booths. Do you know if the house next door is for sale? We have a villa in Positano, but are selling it. We have been there 20 years, but we think it is time to leave Italy and maybe try France. Too many stairs and I am not as young. LOL.I like your vlog very much.

Positano is so beautiful but yes I would struggle with the stairs. No it’s not for sale and I actually think it’s a garage with a loft. Come to France! There’s lots of houses nearby.

Thanks Gerda, yes life carries on over here, there is now a requirement to show proof of being vaccinated or a negative covid test if you go into a cafe or restaurant, trains etc and mask wearing. Its a balancing act. I hope your lockdown ends soon and things get back to normal.
