Building a Fountain

Nice work again Bruce! Did you form the Center Blocks (fountain head) your self? The Steel Bars running out are for Rescue, Looks or Strength? Are the Sides pre-formed and purchased or did you make them? Nice Water Fountain Steve

Thanks Steve! A General Building Contractor asked me for an estimate to assemble the fountain that the Owner had purchased They accepted the price and the rest is history. All of the pieces are carved limestone (centerpiece included). I believe the exposed steel bars are mostly decorative yet, may be for stabilization. We installed all the plumbing, light conduits, lights, pump, waterproofing, etc.

The steel bars are to place buckets to collect water ... these French provincial fountains were for villages’ public use.
