Wow why do so many people make it so complicated That is the easiest and quickest set up I have seen done And the ridge line on the outside that makes perfect sense Never thought about it that way You definitely use the K.I.S.S method Thank you both for all that you do for the forest family and the woodscraft community #staydirtymybrother

If you compile a kids friendly how-to playlist I think you would find a lot of us who would appreciate it. Not new videos, but your existing stuff like this no-nonsense easy to follow content on getting a kid started. Sometimes dad's voice can go in one ear and out the other, but having someone work the gear and explain the differences in a format like this is invaluable. Especially with gear we might not have like plastic tent pegs, that are now on my list thanks to you

Super informative! I'd always heard to put stakes in at an angle...no one has ever said what kind of angle! Now I have more to try! Thanks for such a great video.

Love it as always! Getting some review on so many things in such a compact video is the next best thing to actual practice, which is too few and far between for me in my city life. Sending love from the 'States to you and Ida.

Thanks for this. A very interesting video would be some tips and the general approach on how to efficiently change setup in a clean way in case the weather conditions change abruptly. For instance, if heavy rain starts to fall and the setup chosen was not the most proper one for heavy rain; or in case strong wind starts to blow or changes its direction. For instance, if in this case it starts to blow in the direction of the A in the A-frame. I am conscious that site selection is the most important aspect. However, in case one cannot find the perfect spot and the weather unluckily hits exactly on the weak spot of the site selected, I'd like to be clear-headed in such situations. For instance, I've already found myself in a situation where there was some wind, nothing exceptional, and opted for a tarp tent setup. However, later on during the night the wind started to blow way stronger and changed direction blowing directly into the entrance of the "tent". I was then forced during the night to re-pitch the tarp tent rotated away from the wind, and doing so with the risk of my gear flying all around. Managed to do so decently, but I would like to improve on that (knowing that we were in a little exposed area, which is something to avoid, I know) and have a more consistent and awared approach. Thanks!
