I think a cool idea would’ve been like a room to choose the desired Casket they’d be “buying” 👀 for the services. Help fill in a room since it was such a large build and it’s still fitting for the type of build it is!

I don’t think you can “actually” buy unless you change the lot to a retail one for the short time you shop/pick a casket then change it back and place the one “bought” in place of the service one. Otherwise use imagination and pick one from the room and buy & place w/o swapping the lot type!

@@Lahnasins It's a shame we didn't get the option to actually run a funeral home. It didn't need to be nothing overly complex or dark. Another missed opportunity of cool gameplay. I'm trying to find a way to run a functional funeral home even if I have to rely on mods. I have this building for ages waiting to play with it. The funeral related careers are rabbit holes unfortunately.

If you want to make a more Romanian version of a cemetery you could try making the Jolly? Happy Cemetery from Săpânța, Maramureș, Ro. It has colorful and illustrated gravestones/crosses with a funny story of how the person died and a colorful church 😅

In Spain is quite commun that "funeral houses" have cafes. So the family, who spend a lot of time there eat something. Even alcohol isn't forbiden, some times, when a younger person die their friend made a toast, and that kind of thing. Your bar is totaly normal to me.

My gosh, this have to be one of my favourite builds by Nora, I love when you make big builds or dark themed/ witchy builds. You should try a Halloween build just for the season you know. I've never experienced halloween but the aesthetic is very kool, and making halloween sim builds always gets me into it, if that makes sense.🤭

I meaaan. Around here in my part of the world people did have after partys after funeral... lots of food and drink... and thered be people who got drunk and had a bit too much fun. Either way those things were kind of meant in a way to celebrate the life of a passed one. But last 10 years or so this kind of after parties are more and more gone because the ones who mourn cant really relax and have good time, but the others who were not so close to the passed one had way to much fun at this things...
