Building a Garden Railway • Track Plan Explanation • Concreting Trackbed • Linleys Garden Railway

Big progress today! I have concreted the two junction pieces of trackbed so that the line is now complete in this area. Also, here is a full description of how the new branchline links in to the existing suburban running line.

Until you build your turntable you could just employ a run round loop so that the loco can pull forward down a head shut then reverse around the train of of coaches. Most heritage lines operate this way.
