I played with a gentleman in his 60s. Youre not too old. However if youre not into the pvp aspect I recommend the survival servers, or a server like downbad where they only allow raiding on the weekends. Itll be a lot less heart ache when you log in without a base than to all your doors blown and all your loot gone.

The ambush points at front of base. Those need to be trapped and mined. Dissuades campers. Always at least one smoke/stun or gas/stun combo in tose traps. If you're not home, it announces their new problems to anyone in the area.😊 Sometimes you come home to piles of bodybags. I spelled out "TRAPS" with all the bodies. Then trapped bodies. They drove an armored humvee over them. Free car. I parked it upside down on top of a cop car near my base totally on purpose. Gave the lads their gear back. But I made them walk.😊

I wonder what shenanigans Ripple could get into with a bag of mines, trip wires and grenades. Hocken has to carry the pox, not even I, the mad bomber, trust the laddie with WMD. 😊 Maybe if you get a deserving enemy. Strike from shadows. Surround their base and access paths with mines, traps and tripwires. Fade and listen. 😊

I have been enjoying your videos for a long time now and always excited for the new one to come out and watch it. Watching your videos makes me enjoy playing dayz alot and i always want to get better at it. Just sucks that AUS servers are so toxic and sweaty in pvp so never really enjoy them to play enough because i always die and never get a base down. wish i could run on other servers so i can enjoy the game more but lag is hell for me

A lot of people don’t want anything like that cause it ruins the early game loot up shenanigans, where finding and earning gear is arguably the most fun and unique stage. It’s something I’ve done a lot of over the years only if someone has said they want it or indicated they might. Cause if u gift or offer stuff they will tend to accept regardless as it’s human nature. It ain’t nothing either way tho lol, ur done and at that point tryna stroke ur ego

It's not about ego so much and most of the time giving a base away doesn't always come with alot of gear but sometimes it gives some a base to store stuff and keep it safe for time being so they can decide to keep or move on with their own adventure in game.its not ego ,but to put a some niceness bk into two of the saltiest games there are(apart from gta lol) but sometimes helping others is just a nice gesture not an ego trip and u wud be surprised how many ppl do like it.u can make gud friends from it or just give and leave

middle of the fields is the safest place, any freshie with a shotgun can hit you in a tree, eliminates that threat straight away.
