Com quantos centímetros de comprimento ficou seu esqueleto com 200%?
@designbydave20 күн бұрын
I don't recall but I think close to 1 meter.

At 200%, I wonder what the size would be for the largest part....need to see if it will fit my print bed...
@designbydave5 ай бұрын
Well, just download the model, import it into your slicer and scale it up to see.

Hey, I am planing to do it like you did. How much ABS did you use?
@designbydave29 күн бұрын
Sorry, I don't recall but less then 1 kg im sure. Except for the base. That can use a lot of material depending on how you print it.

I found it interesting you decided to scale up to 200%, while I’m considering scaling down to 50% for two reasons….space and materials. Looks really great! It does look very impressive that large…if I ever have room for a bigger version, I may re-print.

When you print, does the model make the connectors?

That's accelerator for CA glue that basically makes it cure instantly.

I printed this beast in the original scale... The ribs are driving me insane. I'm looking forward to seeing how you got them to work. Did you find they fit poorly in their "sockets"?
@designbydave2 жыл бұрын
Ribs were tricky for sure and I ended up printing them either individually or in smaller batches. The fit of all the components were mostly quite lose as I scaled everything up.

Very impressive. I was about to print this at 200% also since my kids wanted the rest of the body to match the Makerbot standalone skull model I printed for them. After seeing this, I’m gonna keep it normal scale because I would have no place to put that monster when completed. 😂

So the hipbone is the biggest part right? If you try to scale that up your good to go? I want to try pla+ on my ender 3 v2. And also 200%
@designbydave3 жыл бұрын
Can't remember for sure, but yeah, that was one of the largest parts. The longest part is the support beam (can't remember the part name. It runs vertically from the base to the hip bone.) I had to rotate is 45 degrees to get it to fit on my 250x250 bed.
