Using the dead remains of a small wildfire to make a gigantic teepee. No cranes or heavy machinery, just basic tools, a truck and a quad.

This is encouraging. As someone who lives in hawaii. I want to get a teepee with my partner. I was feeling discouraged then i watched this.

Did you all use a snatch block woth your pulley? The quad could've handled it then. Just an FYI for future builds.

As someone who has lived years on a tipi , that's going to be an amazing lodge . The bigger the tipi the higher the smoke level rests in the crown of the tipi , so this is going to be very comfortable space at ground level , but to add a second story , will only work if the smoke so chimneyed out the tipi and this means a closed fire ( open fire is preferred , for 360' deg radiance ) , so I'd first add your canvas , and inner liner and see where you're smoke level rests at , before thinking of adding second story's :)

In teepee episode 3 coming up, I made an underground fire vent system. I'm hopping it will vortex the smoke up.

The good part o wearing steel armor is that it weighs 3/4 of your body weight and when your 8 hour shift ends you have a different world after you take it of its like all of a sudden you have this awesome energy like weightlessnes o floating because your body is no longer having to work and it freaks out and the next thing you know it’s morning and time to put the armour back on awesome video

In Boy Scouts we built a tripod smoker, then wrapped it with cellophane. Then we got the idea to extend it into a teepee. Then we extended it again into a super teepee. For only 3 legs extending one at a time it was super high.
