I used to do this every year and honestly this described perfectly the feelings i had doing it. The rage, the few moments of joy and pride and then just being tired and bored as shit😂 Btw a tip for the construction of the house: use melted sugar to glue the pieces together. You might burn yourself but at least the house stays together and you might avoid a few meltdowns

Oh my god I am crying laughing at this. I did one with my teenage kids like 3 years ago and the rage we all felt at the SHITTY ICING REFUSING TO STICK ANYTHING TOGETHER. It was a bonding moment and we all got so mad that we ended up laughing the kind of laughing where you’re all crying and not making any noise. We put it on the mantle and it literally just fell apart piece by piece and it was in shambles before Christmas ever arrived. 😂😂😂

Imao Brad baby I'm so sorry but when you showed the inspiration gingerbread house I cackled out loud because I learned long ago (at my school's 7th grade gingerbread house activity) where I had a damn near had a meltdown because my ambitious Pinterest gingerbread mansion looked like an abandoned insane asylum.
