And much progress was made. You are right about this being the perfect texture for old siding. Is there any worry about the foam cracking along the carved lines, or do you never go that deep? How much of the finished depth is carving and how much shade painting? Thanks for the update.

Lol dude I’ve totally worried about that! Especially last year. This stuff is only 1/2 thick I carve down about a 1/4 inch and so far so good!
