Hey Vadim great video ! Some additional things that could be very interesting : how to get the device steps data to update automatically (either by subscribing or with timed calls) + how to filter out manual data. I managed it on my own after following the tutorial, but it's a bit hard. Also I'd suggest eas build to have better experience and reliability for the dev builds, at least on my end the run:ios and run:android with prebuild gave me a bunch of errors. Overall very cool tutorial !

I'm having a little trouble with the rings. When I add the second 'foreground' ring and take away the opacity, the 'background' ring's stroke width gets cut in half. The inner half of the 'background' ring disappears. So now the 'foreground' ring is twice as thick as the 'background' ring. I'm using the same const for both circles. Please let me know if anyone else is having this problem or if there are any solutions. Otherwise, fantastic video! I'm learning a lot!

Got the answer to this one. If anyone else if having this issue, set fill: 'none' for both circles and it will fix it.

One more error. This is actually the error that I kept getting which made me watch this video in the first place: (NOBRIDGE) ERROR Warning: TypeError: _reactNativeHealth.default.isAvailable is not a function (it is undefined) Please let me know if you have a solution! I followed the video step by step and am getting this error. I have an iOS folder created in my project, made sure that package.json has 'expo start --dev -client', app.json has the react native plug-in and here is my import statement: import RingProgress from './src/components/RingProgress'; import AppleHealthKit from 'react-native-health'; export default function App() { AppleHealthKit.isAvailable(() => {}); return ( ... Expo is not good for large application most of the modules not work in expo for example - if u want to integrate razorpay will not work in expo in India most of fhe applications use razor pay only

That’s far from the reality. Almost all react native libraries are compatible with expo. I just checked the docs of razorpay, and literally the latest version 2.3.0 is “added expo support”
