This is awesome to watch. Not a single safety rat walking around screwing things up, no stupid enviro-protestors laying down in front of the machines (I'm sure if there were any, they're part of the road now!). Just stuff gettin' done.

I might have missed something, but I noticed one thing above all others there is no road-mesh to make it reinforced concrete. Road mesh is put in the concrete mix as it is poured, and there would also be layers of hardcore (rubble) and also a impervious membrane. The mesh is put down separately from the concrete, by the way, and there are admixtures in the concrete mix as it is poured and levelled. This is in the UK by the way
