Building a House: Construction Steps - Insulating our Home with Spray foam and Batt Insulation!

We are building a house, and in this video we walk you through the installation of different types of insulation we used in our new home build, including spray foam, Batt insulation, and blown-in insulation for our attic. We also walk you through how the insulation is then covered with a vapor barrier as we identify a few issues that need to be fixed. We run into some challenges and conflicts with our Insulation crew and have to deal with some drama while on a family vacation, but eventually we sort things out and the build is back on track!
We are continuing the on-site construction process of building our custom home and previously on our new home build we completed the excavation, pouring the concrete foundation, waterproofing, back filling, framing, installing the roof, connecting the basement drains, installing the windows, applying stucco and stone on the exterior, insulating the basement foundation walls and completing the rough-ins - make sure to watch those episodes if you want to get up to speed.

Lovely video.. hope you guys enjoyed your vacation. I am learning a lot from your videos especially the patience skill that you both have, I would have just lost it on insulation guy for that blunder .... lol ... All the best for the next stage of building.
