Love it. Part of me was a little surprised you did not dig under the alter only because so many people do. And then the surprise! Lol
@nerixgg531817 күн бұрын
I didn't want to dig there at the beginning because it's too simple, and everyone did it at least once. But then it hit me that i didn't make a place where to place my bed. ))) So this was a spontaneous choice. And i'm glad i did it.

Thanks. A small space is interesting to decorate. It makes you get creative cuz the lack of space ))) Me too ))

Very creative. i am not much of a builder. I tend to make spaces that are compact but functional. If I put time into a build, it is always on the decorating side. I like it to look like someone actually lives there.

@stevebreedlove9760 Thank you. I'm not much of a builder either. ))) Just go tired living in a box and started experimenting with stuff. I agree, functionality always is king, that's why I'm spending a lot of time making the interior. Would love to see your builds.

Love these videos. Interesting touch to use empty item stands as like studs. One trick I like to use is to place my banner and then place a second one right over it on the wood part. That way the banner will be just over wood wall details or stone walls where it doesn't clip through the texture

And I love these interesting comments. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. ))) Thank you, I didn't know that trick. It's a great tip.

I had much the same idea with regard to boss arenas. Built a hunting lodge around Eikyhr, turned his altar into a dining table. The elder arena was turned into a castle keep - built with Graunstone. It was a lot of fun!! The main room with the fire i built up high - second story was at the level with the acorns on the pillars, so the smoke wasn't an issue. Second floor was a throne room with a big balcony and a hot tub with ocean views, the third a comfort bedroom. Loved it! Would've built down but it was a) on the shore and b) at sea level - i didn't even bother digging down. Won't tell you what i did for the other arenas though, as that's not fair. But they are a lot of fun to build around!! 🙂

Would love to see your builds someday. I'm always looking for creative inspiration. Too bad i'm not that good with stone. I would love to make some sort of a castle. I am planning to make a discord channel for the community to brag about their skills. The Elders spawn is a pain. That's the third build that I finally could dig down to make something. I completely understand you. Still don't have any ideas on the swamp altar, but i believe that I can come up with something on the spot. This will be fun.

Looks pretty but the insides of those towers are so small the spaces are nearly useless. For example there are not all upgrades around the workbench and forge, not enough space for chests to make any of those towers main storage, can't put a bedroom up there because no fire, ... maybe some portals but I would never remember which tower had which portals. I want to do this same project but use the top of the pillars to place 4 meter corewood beams anchored at the center to define a circular space. I have some iron now, maybe I can spend some on wood-iron beams here to make bigger spaces. I like the idea of using the basement area under the Elder altar for a massive and safe storage area.
@nerixgg531817 күн бұрын
@PaulthePhilosopher2 I agree. The build is small, but that's the beauty of it. To find creative ways to place your stuff. By the way, all of the crafting stations are maxed out. Some of the components are on the shelves. This is just a concept, and my vision, on how i see the inside decorations. That's why I don't address the inside a lot in the video. Everyone has a unique vision. I would love to see your variation of this build. I can bet that you have some amazing ideas.
@lizvanwessem205517 күн бұрын
As I said above I did something similar to this - the bedroom was on the third floor, out of reach of the elder 'fire'. Fortunately, as I'd built in stone, I was able to have a fireplace up there. I appreciate not everyone is building freely without paying attention to biome specific restrictions on what's available (or even in build mode) but there are ways - you can put wood iron underneath just one meter square area, enough to support one stone pavement, which (if you have the stonecutter) would allow you to have a fire up high. good luck!

@TablesAreTurned17 күн бұрын
how did you stack the barrels??
@nerixgg531817 күн бұрын
@TablesAreTurned I was waiting for this question )))) There's a 1m beam in between/behind the barrels, so the second layer is placed on it. Just rotate the barrel to get the perfect positioning on it.
