Also maybe have the option to swap in/add any items that came in the same pack the room is from! The backyard would've been really nice if there was a pool with some Island Living floaties and the swing set. lol or maybe the bonfire. Although the sitting area wasn't that bad, just the random flavor items. And swap out those lights for... well I don't remember what the other lights are from that pack but I think it'd be allowed to swap them out for base game if need be since base game is always available or else add some side tables for table lamps/candles. I agree though, it's fun. Plus I really want to see if the third time is the charm or if he ends up getting that bunker again!

I think this *kinda* works. It feels like a student housing or houseshare situation with the bedrooms you've got... well, 2 of them anyway. And as for the third - we've all had THAT roommate at some point in our life 😂

To be fair, it's still the main bedroom because they have their own bathtub all to themselves which would be pretty luxurious lol. Sadly, I don't know if that roommate actually uses it. I agree though! It really does almost work as a student housing situation and maybe the landlord is a little eccentric or just furnished the shared areas from estate sales or something lol.

I'd like to see you do this again, but choosing the "best" styled rooms instead of random. Or even selecting a couple of packs and only using them. Although the random rooms are hilarious.

After the bunker room, I feel like the other 2 rooms made it feel like a university or college house, and that kind of saved it? Made the bunker room fit in a little. Perhaps "fit in" is too strong a phrase. But they helped 😂

I love this challenge, your reactions are so good and funny. I would like to suggest a new rule(s?): you can rearrange the furniture inside the room and you can delete/add/duplicate one piece of furniture. If you add it must be from the same pack as the room and if you duplicate you can only duplicate one piece of furniture one time. For extra damage: you can only do one of those (add/duplicate/delete). Thank you for being such a lovely company in 2024 and I wish you the best 2025!

You could always go with the story that the parent let the child pick the design of the garden. And they couldn't say no because the child was so joyful. It's amazing that you made the random rooms flow very nicely. Love your builds.

I know you didn't want to share this build on the gallery but I think it'd be really interesting to see you either renovate this build or from scratch create something strongly inspired by fixing where this went horribly wrong. I also think it looks like student housing so it could be really cool to build one of those with a very similar lay-out, an inside-outside shared balcony, modern entrance kitchen and video gaming media room combined with a much older vibes dining room and formal living room plus a backyard with a pool or just tropical vibes as a nod to Island Living. I especially love the big windows wrapping around the kitchen, the big open doors for the media room, and the dark palette. And although the bunker room gave you so much pain, I think it'd be interesting to make the primary bedroom for that shut-in roommate who is a slob but is the only one who has a bathroom connected to their bedroom lol. Or you could have two shared bedrooms which use the downstairs bathroom (4 Sims) and the two single bedrooms have a Jack and Jill style bathroom instead of just another hallway bathroom upstairs. The layout 's already good but I thought that could be an interesting way to shake it up! And then 6 total Sims could live there. But you know ofc do whatever you feel like lol I'm honestly glad you shared the video even though Strangerville decided to be insufferable.

Next time you do this, build it on a 64x64 lot, that way you can put all the rooms down and *then* decide the order you want the rooms to be attached in. THEN you can move it to a smaller lot.

I love the idea of doing another sort of this video, but you can reconfigure the layout of the items and you can only duplicate the items that are in the room. No new items, just adding more of the same but in a layout that is the opposite of EA, ya know coherent. Love these videos!

Welcome back! Happy New Year to all. Now this is a dream return. A share house extraordinaire! It would be fun to create Sims for each of those rooms. A conspiracy theorist who never leaves their room, a couple of young adults who work from home on something dodgy, and a uni student whose parents are paying for a room off campus and made them take their childhood bedroom furniture with them. The dodgy workers take care of the plants on the patio 😉 The landlord furnished each of the shared spaces to a theme - I stayed in an AirBnb like that once.
