I love that you embraced the options you got and worked with them instead of trying to force them into more conventional themes. In my personal experience, it really helps with breaking out of defeatist build loops. Like "oh no, this doesn't go exactly with what I envisioned/perceive as [aesthetic], I have to use something else entirely or scrap the idea altogether!" kind of stuff. Plus, it's just so refreshing to not see minimalist luxury, cottagecore, dark academia, or monochrome pastels for once. Not that any of those are bad, most are my own favorites! But it's also everyone else's favorites, so it's nice to see more underrated, underutilized stuff getting the spotlight.

This is why I like these wallpapers! In my opinion the wallpapers are just one part of the interior designs. They alone cannot make or break the room because they are likely not the only room decoration. It all depends on how you use the wallpapers. I do however admit that my personal tastes and personality are apparently different than theirs are, like with the geometric pattern, and I wouldn’t approach choosing a wallpaper in the way that they do, either.

Gonna be completely honest: I've always liked the dots wallpaper. The different swatches make for good mismatching themes, especially in kids rooms for two kids that have two different color palettes, you can have the walls match pattern but not color and still have it look alright. Another wallpaper I find works for that is the solid ones with the white moulding if you're looking for less busy looking walls and more colors

I actually like the marble walls. It reminds me of kintsugi, which is a Japanese art style that fixes broken pottery to show the original cracks. It focuses on the beauty of imperfection and how anything broken can be fixed. There are so many different themes you could do with that style!

Growing up, I shared a room with my younger sister, and for 2-3 years our room was multicolored with butterflies - literally the exact same colors/shades as the polka dot room 😆 each wall was a different color, we had bright matching twin bedspreads and butterfly curtains, and in one corner was one of those multicolored kids floor lamps. Needless to say, it might just be the nostalgia talking but I’m in love with the polka dot room 💅💕
